Great afternoon cocktail. We did not have anything to eat, only went for a drink, but did take photos of the menu. The cocktail are very good and average prize. Service is top friendly. Interior is very stunning and music is great. All and all, a very good and easy spot to enjoy a drink. Meal type Other Price per person R 150–200 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Entrance was a bit tricky to find but once you are up the stairs its great. Friendly and efficiant staff quickly gave us a seat, explained the tapas menu and took a drinks order. Perhaps the timing on the tapa bowls could have been a bit better as all the food did not come at once.. But food was tasty and plates was cleared without being intrusive. A shame they don't have the well-rated Thai mussels on the menu anymore. In fact, the menu is very limited, and the fried prawn & calamari I had were quite greasy and rather average in terms of taste. The staff are very friendly, and the decor and art are beautiful. I'm usually too lazy to rate restaurant or pub visits on social media. But the backline really deserves kudos. As the name suggests, the entrance is somewhat hidden behind the Wilderness Caltex gas station. The extremely tastefully decorated lounge bar is located on the first floor and has a spacious outdoor deck. The cocktails are great and the tapas on offer - we tried the Thai mussels, the peeled prawns and meatballs - far exceeded what I'm used to in Wilderness. And last but not least, the friendly staff made sure that we could enjoy a very nice evening, which we will definitely repeat.
