A must try while you are in Tulum.
The jungle setting is beautiful and inviting.
All of the food we have tried on each of our two visits has been outstanding. Of note are the soft shell crab tacos and bone marrow.
The service is excellent and the knowledge of each dish and the emphasis on local ingredients really shows the passion for what they do.
Note that as it is in the jungle there may be mosquitoes but they smudge regularly and it was not so noticeable as to hinder the experience.
There is a limited time for your seating as they are so busy so do not take offence if they require the table after an hour and a half or so

Visiting ARCA was an unforgettable culinary adventure, where each dish served was nothing short of a masterpiece. The food was absolutely outstanding, a true testament to the chef's skill and creativity. It's rare to find a place where the taste of the food is as visually impressive as the artistry on the plates, but this restaurant has mastered that balance.
The amazing taste of the food, combined with the visual feast provided, made dining at ARCA an experience I would highly recommend to anyone seeking culinary excellence. It's clear that the kitchen is not just serving food, they're crafting pieces of art that are as pleasurable to the palate as they are to the eye.
Thank u so much!

Scallop Crudo with Sea Urchin
We walked into this restaurant without any prior reservation or plans and we were a big group but we loved the setting and we just sat down. The menu was mostly seafood and each item was very pricey, but the quality of the food was amazing. Most dishes were fusion style with a twist to the taste which was very interesting. The service was great and the staff were very helpful in our food selection. But emphasizing this is definitely on the more fancy and expensive side of restaurants in tulum beach strip. Favourite dishes were scallop crudo, bone marrow and roasted prawns.

Don’t be fooled by the very typical “staged upscale entrance” in Tulum beach. We did walk-in seating on our last night (make a reservation if a busy week) and it was delightful! Gorgeous setting and ambience. Very good food and cocktails and good attentive service. The most sophisticated and best dining experience in Tulum beach. But it’s New York pricing, and that frankly kills the 5th star.

This is a place you need to visit at least once during your time in Tulum. The service is 5 star and the restaurant is lovely. The food is completely different to what you would normally find but the servers are great with recommendations. The cocktails were great also. This restaurant is on the pricier side so make sure to factor that in. I went alone and spent upwards of $900 MXN.

Wow this place was incredible 1000/10!
Every single dish was so flavorful and unexpected with a mixture of spices, sauces and overall so much goodness in every bite.
We ordered all the vegetarian dishes, the bone marrow, prawns, and goat cheese dessert (Yes, goat cheese) and not one disappointed.
The service was incredible and super helpful with recommendations
This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the world

Roasted Bone Marrow
For the adventurous, the daring, and those seeking culinary escapades beyond the ordinary, this restaurant is the ultimate haven. It's a spot that takes dining to an entirely different echelon, making it an experience reserved for the bold and those craving an elevated gastronomic journey.
The core of their menu revolves around grilling, and let me tell you, their technique surpasses anything I've encountered in Tulum. If you're up for a dining adventure of a different caliber, this is the place for you.
Our culinary expedition began with the soft shell crab tacos, a mesmerizing creation with mezcal tempura, crowned with fermented habanero and xoconostle salsa. A true fusion of flavors that pushed the boundaries of taste.
Next, we delved into the crab esquites—an innovative blend of heirloom corn, crab meat, and coconut bisque that delighted our taste buds with its uniqueness and boldness.
As the grand finale, we savored the outstanding bone marrow, toasted in the woodfire oven to sheer perfection. It was a culinary masterpiece that showcased the restaurant's mastery of grilling techniques.
However, despite the culinary brilliance, the service unfortunately did not match the caliber of the food. It's a regrettable aspect that slightly dampened an otherwise exceptional dining experience.

Wow! An amazing dining experience. Best restaurant in Tulum for sure and one of the best I have been to. I have ate at a few other restaurants in the top 50 latinamerica and they are definitely deserving of their spot. All the food was amazing, presentation, taste, service, food descriptions, great drinks. Very good dessert too. Must visit when in Tulum

Really loved this restaurant!
Had a really chill vibe. Food tasted really great and was presented very well. Service was really good, too. The food that came was explained well. A bit pricey but would still go again.
We had Dzikilpak (cilantro dip with pumpkin seeds with corn tortilla),bluefin tuna crudo (tartar), stripped sea bass and gripe mushroom tlayuda. El solar was a really good well- balanced drink.
