My sister and I love Aqaba, every time I travel south we treat ourselves to their great atmosphere, delicious food, and wonderful service. Just home tonight, very happy to have our meal finessed to our taste, superb steak and salad. Definitely recommend dining here. 🤗🙏 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $40–50

Great service, great food, great coffee, free wifi with a good atmosphere. 10/10 recommend for a casual business lunch doing work, or a full evening dining. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Amazing service, best in town. Wedges are the best and great large portion. The rest of the menu needs a good jiggle up, with nothing jumping out to order. Portions were more lunch potions than for evening meal Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–60 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Wedges

Took me a while to go here as there was nothing on the menu that stood out to me, but was curious about it as there had recently been a change of ownership. Though nothing too out of the norm, the fried chicken and Turkish pizza (more like a bread) were so good!! The food was great and service fine, but I was most impressed with the decor. It really felt like you were in a whole different country being inside of Aqaba, everything was very authentic and so nice to be in. It was quite busy for lunchtime which is rare for Palmerston so that must mean they're doing pretty good so far. Highly recommend!

Booked a table for 7pm. When we arrived they pointed to the table. Service was good. The food was delicious but the portions were massive, not a bad thing if you eat a lot 👍 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
I had an awesome meal, buttermilk chichen was delicious. Didn't need the extra bbq sauce on ribs but still tender and yum. Caramel creme brulee was so smooth and creamy. Staff were helpful but rather short staffed. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Had booked for 6.30 but someone else had our table so we sat somewhere else. Traffic light was supposedly their speciality but what came out was far from a traffic light. Once we were served our meals we were forgotten about. Pork belly was like rubber. Kids pizza was dry and like concrete, ribs were like eating pure sugar. Meals were very average considering price. Thought we'd come to check out after many years but wont be coming back again.
Had a delightful evening here celebrating an anniversary. Not sure what to have for dinner? Grab yourself an Aqaba platter. Great for two people. With Calamari, Pork Belly, Fried Chicken, breads, spreads and dips. A big thank you to waitress Thali and owner Nathan (aka Rat) for looking after us. We'll see you next time. Dropped in for a late lunch on the 29th Dec. This has always been a fairly popular place for us, as it always has something to please everyone. It has been a few years since we last ate here, but it seems to be pretty much the same. Menu still has a good range of offerings, which are served nicely. Family and friends enjoyed the fries, pancakes, a scallop salad and pulled pork sliders. My sweet potato fries were a bit disappointing as they were pretty soggy and I could only eat half of them. They can be a bit tricky to get just right as they burn easily, and go limp quickly if left for too long after frying. McCains do an outstanding sweet potato wedge, which is a hundred times better as a product, and spoil it for every other sweet potato fry after you tried them. It was very long wait for lunch, and felt longer than the 30 mins we were warned about. Possibly a bit short handed in the kitchen due to the holiday period? Overall, a 3.5 out of 5.

Had meal pre planed around 2 months in advance for at least 25 family members for a birthday The service was average 🙄 the table was not exactly top priority of the evening even though we were the only ones in there and there were 5 staff behind the bar 🤔 The food came out under cook and over cooked . Ribs were dry the steak was still bleeding . A welm cooked steak should be well rested prior to been served , the chips were soggy , mash patoto was dryer than setting concrete The burgers were also not the best soggy buns patties dripping with fat etc 😕 I think chef Microwave had a lot to do with the meals that night . I saw at least 15 plates go back to the kitchen half full . I Was not happy.. I didn't want to cause a scene as it was my daughter's birthday that she had organized. Not a great first-time experience for me or some others at the table Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
