My husband and I have gone here a few times now as a breakfast date and we love it. The food is always good, the atmosphere is lovely and old school and the service is quick and efficient. Walking into Apple Annie’s was like walking into a diner in the 90s. It has a retro decor that immediately feels warm with Americana charm. Our server was incredibly friendly and provided above and beyond service throughout our stay. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the French toast. Will make this a stop next time I pass by Tulare. The restaurant was clean and wasn't run down or outdated. I was greeted upon entry and the service was prompt and thorough. I ordered pot roast it came in it's own gravy. It was hot and delicious. The side of green beans were the same . I was very pleased with how tasty they were, surprised actually.I wish I could say the same for the mashed potatoes and gravy. They were lukewarm. I tried an apple dumpling dessert. It was dry and had very little caramel sauce on it. The apple itself didn't have much flavor.
