The ambience was calm, food was average in taste and garlic naan was overpriced for just 1slice $6 . Took long to take the food order, finally the mains were there but table was unclear, even at last staff took my drink without even asking as it was half and i was still drinking. The food was good, but not outstanding. The taste from Chicken Rogan Josh was really tasty, but the meat in it was way to big to eat it it as a takeaway without a knife, also the rice was almost cold when I opened the package. 10$ for one small slice of naan with mint sauce is also a bit expensive I think.. We have dined at this restaurant before it was renamed and loved it. Unfortunately we were very disappointed this time. All of the chicken looked and tasted like it was cooked together and simply had pre-packaged sauces added to make our dishes. The garlic naan tasted and looked like it had been bought at a supermarket and the popodom sauce portions were minute. We will not be returning. Beautiful food, beautiful atmosphere, quick and friendly service. We really appreciated the volume of the music because we could talk to each other without having to yell, haha. Wow this was amazing. The food and all the staff were so lovely. We have just been for New Year’s Eve dinner. The beef vindaloo and chicken tikka were outstanding, and the kema nan and garlic nan. A Monday evening, very pleasant surroundings, prompt, attentive service. Place was surprisingly busy (compared to the rest of town). Ordered the vindaloo, Indian hot. 24 hours later, I'm still regretting that decision, it was banging! If you like good Indian, this is the place for you!
