We went for a late Sunday brunch. Had a fantastic time. The server was so friendly and the breakfast food was delicious. Wonderful neighborhood diner. Looking forward to going again. Half chicken was nasty ..wings had feathers on and and the leg and though had hair on it ...corn was tasteless ..and the baked potato was Boiled with sliced cheese on it ... I've was highly upset that this place sevrd food looking and tasting like tgis..I had to send it back and get French Toast n turkey bacon which was perfectly perfect ..Shame on the cook for serving that food ... I purchased home fries with pepper and onions ($2.60 more) on 02/26/24 via GrubHub. The home fries were burnt to a crisp and inedible. It's like breakfast was over and they sent me the burnt scrapings from the bottom of the grill. Y’all, do not come here. Do not waste your money. First off, the drinks aren’t tap drinks, they’re bottled and cans and they’re OVERPRICED. A regular degular CAN of sprite, 12oz, was $3.50. $3.50?!!! That’s insane. I ordered the Texas Burger, which comes with BBQ sauce as specified on the menu, and my friend ordered the TURKEY PANINI BLT sandwich with LOADED fries. My burger was made with KETCHUP, not BBQ sauce, and my friend’s sandwich came with PITA bread. PITA BREAD YALL. AND IT WAS HAM! They’re lucky she eats pork cause it was literally HAM!!! And it says Turkey on the menu! The biggest issue was the loaded fries… first off, they charged her $5 for them.. and they were made with BARELY melted SQUARE CHEESE. Not shredded cheese, literally the ones you buy at the grocery store, and the smallest bit of bacon bits. All of this food was stuff you’d practically buy and sell outta your house and it’d be way better if you made it your own kitchen. The fries were the same you’d make outta them frozen bags from the frozen aisle and they weren’t even seasoned, AT ALL. Only props I can give to this place is its layout, looks like those old-style movie diners. At least that was nice :/ Gratuity was added and it was 20%… she def didn’t give 20% service and this food barely gave 5% food. Waste of time and money, went home upset as hell.
