Staff were lovely and sweet. Our food was so yummy and the presentation was 10/10. We went back again next day for drinks for our drive back home and would definitely go back again. Lovely people and service, very welcoming. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A good brunch venue with a unique flavour profile that was delicious. We were the first here on a Wednesday morning, and the service was good. We had two flat whites which were very tasty alongside the eggs and bacon on toast, and the French toast with bacon. The chef had forgotten the bacon but this was cooked and corrected within minutes. This had been recommended both in a blog and a visit New Zealand book, and we certainly would recommend a visit. The French toast came with coconut yoghurt and homemade compote which had an Indian spice taste. These were great additions to breakfast!!
I am not sure when the business has changed ownership but sadly it is no longer what it was. Went for dinner for my birthday. There was no one else there which I thought was odd but assumed cause it was a Wednesday. Ordered drinks, no problem there. We ordered our meals from a menu that was not a lot to choose from and all prices were over about $32. This made me think the meals would be really really good. When they arrived we were all disheartened. They were like pub meals you’d pay $20 for. These were specifically the lamb shank, Mediterranean platter and the ribs. I let the waiter know I wasn’t happy with the prices which he did not reply to, it was awkward as I haven’t had to complain like this before. He left us for the remainder of the time until plates were cleared and we left. I wrote a complaint on their website but after a week I have not had a reply. Cute cafe! A separate vegan menu stole our hearts. Plenty of options! Delicious food and good value for money. Our dishes were really generous. Lovely staff and ambiance♡♡. Has a deck very well protected from the cold, with heaters and see through plastic curtains. The owner clearly put thought into every little corner. Yummy but still healthy, smoothies, mains, salads and cabinet food. Will be back!

An amazing price for incredible food. The Tunisian spiced lamb shank was succulent and wonderfully seasoned. The surf and turf option of the steak was very delicious. Highly recommend the calamari. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I read the reviews on this place looking for good coffee, as it seems that all the good coffee shops have been taken over and make terrible coffee in the hope that this place still makes the "best coffee" in Rotorua and again disappointed in fact this it was probably the worst tasted like chemicals so I threw it away, I think that BP surpasses this place. To add to the taste of the coffee the barista disappeared half way through making the coffees and returned 5mins later and continued making which is odd. Food: 1 Service: 1

Our previous visit had set a high bar, with the food being nothing short of exceptional. However, this time around, the establishment seemed to have lost its charm. While the service was passable, the food was a let-down. Regrettably, we won't be returning, and I find it difficult to recommend this place to others. Really nice. Can't believe how cool the bar down the back is, and to have the enclosed areas outside at the back - great to bring kids. Coffee is good as well. Check out my photos- they had a ridiculously giant sausage roll for sale in the cafe...
