Between nice food or hipster cafe we choose nice food. Came here for lunch ordered dry curry pork, mixed vege, char siew omelette, and top up with fried mushroom. Wanted to order wild boar curry but not available. Overall food all taste good and big portion. Fried mushroom looks like fried cuttlefish from outside a bit too much flour coating but taste nice. One of our best meals in Kundasang. They are famous for the pork knuckle but I fell in love with their 四大天王. The veggies were so sweet and fresh. Their pork knuckle is reasonably priced and so crispy. If you are craving for chinese stir fry dishes, this is the place you have to go. It’s situated next to the main road so you can’t miss it. Unassuming place, but nice food for the price (and lack of options in the area), definitely worth checking out if you're in Kundasang and you're looking for a nice lunch or an early dinner. Recommended restaurant for local food. Wooden structure, with indoor and outdoor (if you're not afraid of the cold) seating. Delicious and value for money. Beautiful sunset view if you're here for dinner. The stewed wild boar is recommended, venison is good too. The local mushrooms are battered and deep-fried for a nice crunch. The fish maw soup is thick, with the aroma of cooking wine, and is great to have in the cold mountain air. Don't expect 5-star cleanliness here. Plenty of roadside parking.

The elders love the curry wild boar while the youngers love the fried mushroom here. Only one chef in the kitchen hence do expect longer waiting time if u come during peak hour. The tricks of not to wait too long is to plan your dinner time earlier, at 5 or 5 30pm.

highly recommended! the food is perfect and high efficiency, the food is fast prepared! im not a vege person but their mixed vege is fantastic. i visited here for the 4 times and tried almost everything in the menu, its good👍🏽 i love their tomyam, its totally different taste from west Malaysia but the taste is absolutely tasty! Been to this cozy restaurant on every trip. Not only because of the reasonable prices but the food is so delicious. Must try the wild boar stew and vinegar pork trotters. Closes early, so have an early dinner. We also had the fried mushrooms. Dinner for 2, RM43.00 Check out the menu on the wall. COOL!! Came back for dinner again!! It was our second visit here for lunch. We were rather disappointed with he hygiene of the shop as we had to chase away the flies constantly. One even dropped into our soup. The amount of flies were really shocking. They stopped all their signature dishes such as stew wild boar and deer meat. Food was ordinary.

<Non-halal restaurant> Dropped by this chinese restaurant before heading to Kundasang. Open-aired restaurant with few staffs. Can be very packed during peak days. Foods are savoury. Recommended dishes are written on the wall.
