We ordered the flower crab dip, financiers, beef cheek rendang, baby cabbage. Food was so so so good, flavours were amazing! Always love different variations of flavours that go well together and is hard to execute so well! Service staff were super attentive with the water and clearing our plates. Staff was also so observant - she saw my bouquet of flowers and asked if it was my birthday and I mentioned it was our anniversary. We ordered the ice cream sandwich and it came with a “happy anniversary” wish and candle. So sweet of them to do so!! Will visit again to try their other stuff! best food ever, homely place with amazing service. Vibes were really warm 🫶🏻 I had almost everything on the menu for a friend’s birthday, personally love the duck fat financier and crab n dip. For mains, the group’s favourite was the baby cabbage and rendang. Would definitely come back again!! My absolute favorite neighborhood restaurant! We try to come here as often as possible to see what the head chef has in offer and believe me that it never disappoints. I dream of its Mouth Watering Chicken alongside its cold beehoon, new menus are always a charm as well. Atmosphere is always cozy and welcoming, pricing is highly reasonable and affordable for the quality of meals that you enjoy. 10 out 10 every time! Absolutely amazing experience - highly recommended! Celebrated our anniversary and Valentine's Day here - really liked the idea of modern Singaporean dishes and everything was executed perfectly. Every dish was cooked well with a great balance of flavours (look and tastes familiar, but much better executed and with a little twist). Our favourites of the nights were the Flower Crab Chip & Dip, Mouth-watering Chicken, and special Valentine's dessert (Beetroot Sorbet and Goji Berries with Yogurt Parfait - please keep it on the menu!) Shout out to amazing service by the crew (Ryan + a really lovely long-haired gentleman Eugene?). Keep up the great work! The overall decor of the place is out of place but yet still not in an artistic or aesthetic way..? It seemed to not follow a certain decor style which is fine but everything just did not gel together. The service staff were nice and polite but not attentive. The food was mediocre. The flower crab was tasty, as was the steamed fish but the baby squid was just oily. There were many seats avaliable and people coming in but only one staff helped? So the people including the other staff were just standing around… Overall… the experience and atmosphere was just weird?! Pleasant dining experience with friendly staff and head chef owner! Enjoyed the barramundi, buah keluak and kailan very much, only gripe was the portion size. Found the XL clams and crab and dip fancy but a little salty, the beef rendang was unfortunately too gamey and a huge miss for us. Exhaust system was great though, we did not smell like fumes despite it being an open kitchen. Overall, the quick speed we received our food and welcoming service made this dining experience a great one despite the misses, worth to try at least once :) Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was great! Went there for the first time and tried the following: 1. Pork Belly Buah Keluak. This is amazing. Very nicely executed with a great amalgamation of flavours. Man tou bun was crisps and tasty. Pork belly was so tender, easy to bite into and melts in your mouth. Was certainly very delightful to eat. A must try I feel:) 2. Crispy baby squid. This was very tasty, a lovely snack/side. Very nicely fried and goes well with the black mayo (I think) sauce. 3. Mushroom and scramble egg with sourdough. This is good too, it tasted much better than I expected. Quite impressed. All the ingredients were flavourful and I enjoyed the dish:) 4. Hainanese Curry Chicken rice. This dish is good overall. The curry and rice were very fragrant and tasty. The chicken, done in a fried chicken cultet style, was decent. Best to make a reservation as the dining area isn’t too big. There are counter seats where you can see the chefs at work. The flower crab dip and the crispy squid are really good. Most of the menu are nicely thought out and worth a try. They also have local beers that’s quite interesting too. Overall a great experience and will come back to try the other items on the menu. Superb food and excellent service. Definitely must try the duck fat financier and cold bee hoon. Will return to try other dishes and recommend to all my friends as well. Came here after my cousin recommended this establishment, mentioning that his army buddy was one of the chefs/owners. Innovative and unique fusion food, and we enjoyed the barramundi and beef rendang dish. I personally really liked the cold bee hoon side, but wished the portion was bigger. Staff were also helpful and quite attentive. Price tag is on the higher end but expected of the Joo Chiat area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
