I had a great experience.
The people were awesome.
The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a Dinner.
The food was the best of all.
The soup of the day changes but the one I had was to die for.
Will definitely be back and can't wait to try the buffalo colefower soup.

Been a few months, still a staple of GJ. Just wish for more consistency. If I go there 4 times in a year and order the same thing, it's always different. Meat, cheese, and condiment amounts. Bread toasted and buttered, bread toasted and dry, bread single side buttered and toasted like a bun on a flat top, etc.. I never regret going there. It's just sometimes it's kinda pricey for what you get, and sometimes it's a good value. If you're gonna drop $50 on 3 sandwiches, chips, and fountain drinks, you expect a certain level of consistency. Staff as usual was amazing.

Best home cooked food. Its hand made with love from Holli and company with scratch ingredients. Made fresh daily. McAlisters aint got nuthin on this place. 7th Street needs a 6th Star. Brandon Lets Go! Line up the orders! A respected Veteran who shakes your hand for coming back!
SUPPORT THIS PLACE. Its not outta the way. Its just outta sight and outta mind to most. So 'Mom and Pop Shop' its just like Norman Rockwell is out front sketching the place while the soup is being stirred.
Open M-Fri Lunch and Dinner till 6:30PM Call in a order and pick up dinner.
Home made soup like Jesus hand carved the wooden spoon stirring it from ever being burnt.
John Todd the NewYorker is $13.99 with a choice of side plus tax POST COVID. Add $2.50 for a origional sugar bottled Coke or a real iced tea? Bring water and keep smiling with that $5 diesel gallon of fuel, million dollar twinkle smile with no tip. Kitchen Staff is always happy here.
Ya know a guy can start a conversation here like a human with Debbi and share a idea and get a cookie... HAVE YOU TRIED THE COOKIES???
One goes to McAlisters, gets blinded by the light bulb blocking the corporate menu for a near meat 1/2 salad and 1/2 reheated bagged sandwich fresh off the truck plus a corn syrup drink for less?

Pasta Salad
Well, it's overpriced. My friend ordered the New Yorker, with a side of potato salad and a drink. $20.00. I took pictures. They tasted ok but I can't afford the prices.
