The Japanese menu attracts visitors who are in search of a new experience. Many guests come here to enjoy good miso soup, seaweed salads and nigiri. Being at this restaurant, try tasty ice cream. Get your meal started with delicious wine. At 5th avenue sushi, you can order food as a takeaway. If you look through the guests' reviews, the staff is professional at this place. Prompt service is something clients like here. Prices are average for the quality you get. There is a spectacular atmosphere and lovely decor at this spot. But this restaurant hasn't achieved a high rating from Google users.

5th Ave is well worth the drive for me. I live in the city and driving out to the burbs for this gem is always well worth it. The sushi is fresh prices are fair and service is quick. The music they play is a little funny to me but it makes the atmosphere more laid back. If you’re ordering from here go to another place as the owner is a liar and the food that incorrect order was mostly grease They had misleading pictures on door dash showing the food we ordered as sushi but all we got was fried tempura. I’m pretty sure I talked to the owner on the phone but he lied that he wasn’t the owner. He kinda gave himself away by blaming that it wasn’t his fault it was door dashes fault. And then tried gaslighting us how door dash works. The owners individually puts pictures of the items in the app and he’s telling me that’s wrong apparently. He did explain that it started with an A so it meant appetizer but how tf was I supposed to know that as a first time customer. He also kept repeating himself and not listening to us at all kinda like a narc. The owners seem to intentionally try and mislead people to order this and then have them order more food again. This is false advertising and we didnt even want to eat this food. Though we did try the food because we were starving but honestly it tasted so bland and boring and was extremely fried and greasy. I’m not one of those health freaks but ew. It’s so greasy and not even good tasting grease. The soy sauce helped a lil but was that cheap soy sauce. The food we got was just pure grease unlike the sushi we were supposed to get. Which if this stuff was going to be in the sushi too then yikes. I wanted to try out their sushi but I don’t wanna pay someone who was rude and dismissing. My bf and have been going around trying out all the sushi places here and I rec this one the 2nd worse. 1st worse is noodles and sushi delight I never had my body reject food that fast. And look how soggy this was unfortunately the photo doesn’t show how wet this tempura was but you can see a bit of it on my finger At least they could have given us some coupon but nothing and I see from others they are cheap Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Placed a to go order. Got some sushi rolls that were 50% off; I can see why they were. So rice filled and sticky, along with falling apart when you pick it up. The Boston roll was non existent with its filling and the others were just a little blan. The rice is too much and takes away from the sushi part. If you don’t mind paying for what you get, this is the place. If you enjoy sushi this isn’t the place for you! lol Service Take out Meal type Lunch Food: 3 Service: 3
Been coming back for 3 times now. Order Godzilla and Golden - Our favorite. eat all you can thing so it’s less expensive since my husband and I eat a lot. We love sushi and we plan to go back and bring our friends because you can bring your own wine and drinks! 1 star less though since they need to change their approach for guest dining in. The owner (old guy who always gets your order) seemed not so hospitable. You don’t want to ask him about something since he doesn’t answer in a helpful way. We love talking to his wife (not sure). She was the one who told us that what we ordered was sushi all you can and we can bring our own drinks! Again, don’t mind the old man but enjoy since it’s not crowded. We decided to try somewhere new, and this place was a total surprise. It is a small little place with one waiter and two people creating marvelous creations. My only regret was that I did not take pictures. We had the all you can eat sushi, and some of their rolls were better than other places we have gone to. We are definitely coming back here. Sushi is bland almost no flavor. Got 5+ different types of roles (got one chopstick in bag) they all taste same almost dollar store type taste was expecting better. Other places have much better and vibrate looking sushi for same or little more money Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
This was a Delicious, I haven't found a good 🍣 sushi restaurant in a loong time; until today! Everything was fresh & delicious, from Mango smoothie to my cheesecake tempura dessert. They have great lunch specials from $10 to $13 per person, since I am a BIG eater for two hungry person's it was $50 but since we got two meals each plus a side item. The staff was nice & spoke English! So we ordered, Beton box Chicken Terriyaki that came with a miso soup w/a side of krab salad plus my cheesecake dessert. My mom got the L1 which is two traditional rolls and a salad, she picked California & Shrimp Tempura and Udon soup plus a Mango smoothie. Amazing local place w/lots of seating for a corner shop, I will love to come back again!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

Food is always good and tasting fresh. Staff can be a little lax, but not to the point I would take a star away. Atmosphere is nice and modern. Overall a great establishment worth trying, as long as you don't expect hand and foot waiter service.
Our service was fine but it was pretty bland. Reasonably priced but I would probably go elsewhere - Buffalo Grove and Arlington Heights have a surprising amount of sushi options.
