Don’t let the pungent odor of the stinky tofu dissuade you as you step inside the restaurant - you’ll get used to it quickly, and they have an expansive menu of Taiwanese dishes to choose from. Best way to eat here in my opinion is family style - order an herbal chicken soup (what they seem to be known for) and some bowls of rice and explore a few other menu items with friends and family. Personally my favorite was the egg yolk shrimp, I’ve never had anything with such a unique savory texture on the outside - it’s grainy in a good way with a slight crunch, and nice bouncy succulent shrimp on the inside. Goes great with rice. Unfortunately the rest of the dishes including the soup were mid - not bad, but nothing to write home about -so along with the slightly pricy menu I’m going to leave my rating at 4 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Ordered the winter only lamb with Chinese herbal hot pot (羊肉爐) and steam cod with special bean sauce (豆酥鱈魚). The lamb has skin and tender all around. Very nice. Not huge amount but understantable as lamb with skin is quite expensive here. Flavour is correct. Special bean sauce add nice interesting flavour to the steam cod. Not many places has this dish. Overall, pretty good but price is definitely on higher side. Will come back for other food likely although have to order conservatively or else your wallet will be empty lol Food: 5

We ordered 2 bento boxes here and a chicken soup. The food came really fast and the service was great. My only complaint is that the prices are slightly on the pricier side. UPDATE: went again today. The menu has a lot more options now that the chef used to be Haka House is now here. We ordered 三杯中卷，梅菜扣肉，and 蒜蓉空心菜 and all were solid! I definitely will come back again. We ordered 4 entrees and a chicken soup, the soup was quite light at the beginning and it gets more flavor at the end under a small heat for 20 mins. Very nice restaurant, modern Chinese decor and very good quality Chinese and taiwanese food. Try the soup, it's $10 for a serving but very worth it. Filled with ingredients that are nourishing for your body and part of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine). I tried the first soup, it had 乌鸡 (black silken chicken)，枸杞子，红枣 (red date)，虫草花. Very flavorful soup, add your own salt. My hubby had a soup too, but it had normal chicken and this bamboo fungus. Finally we had a crispy green bean stir fry with pork and white rice. Super tasty!! We came for the soup but they ran out - that’s when you are know are good. We ended up ordering other dishes and to our surprised they are also really good. The 蟹黄豆腐 had lots of real crab meat and the 苦瓜牛肉 is very good as well.
