I am not, in any way, attempting to slander the business or location. I hope the employee can correct their behavior. I went to grab some lunch while working today, and everything seemed to be going great as usual. As soon as I went to pay for my things, I placed the items on the counter. I greeted the employee at the counter with kindness and was met with nothing but aggression. I’ve never had a negative experience with anyone at this location, as I work in the area often and stop by for lunch/drinks/snacks, etc. It was an older lady with glasses. Mary, I believe is the name I saw on the name tag she had on. Again, I hope it was a one time occurrence. If she was having a bad day or not in a good mood, hopefully she finds a resolve and is kinder to others. I inserted the debit card I had, but the reader had malfunctioned or I might’ve done something wrong. She began to take a condescending tone with me, asking me what I was doing. I was completely caught off-guard by the hostility in her voice “What are you doing?” and simply replied “What it’s asking to do, I inserted it.” After this, she kept giving me attitude so I just finished paying, took the card and went to pay for my food and shrugged it off. I genuinely hope that this was a one time thing and hope no one else has a negative experience like this. That the employee doesn’t lash out at people like this regularly. The food and drinks are always good, but the service was definitely 1 star this trip.
