I have not eaten at this place but based on the reviews I will probably never step foot into this restaurant if you're looking for non-quality food this is the place sorry to be so judgmental but this is basically diner food at its best. I Have no idea how they received the James Beard award they must have known somebody. Just for the record myself and my family are all in the restaurant business, hopefully they could change things around and go back to the original plan that their grandparents put in place.

I’ve been coming for years and years. Best Southern food around, kind of famous for it. I always try to leave room for the peanut butter pie. First time ever going to Wade's this week & I've lived in the area my whole life. Everyone always hypes this place up so I had to see what it was about finally. It definitely has a great atmosphere & was busy, inside & on to-go's. I got meatloaf & 3 sides... Meatloaf MELTEDDDDD in my mouth - Very delicious! We weren't impressed at all with the Mac & Cheese, tho. ( odd that it was a bit dry during dinner rush ? ) Cheese on the broccoli didn't taste .... cheesey..... The sides were.... mediocre at best..... The baked chicken on our other plate was great as well. Honestly. The best thing we got was the peanut butter pie ! 🥧 It was absolute PERFECTION! My all time favorite Meat + Three spot in the south. How can you not love beating the Sunday afternoon crowd in order to get some of their rolls and sweet tea?! Service and food is served so fast, it’s hard to finish your conversation. I’ll come here every time I get the chance! Prices are SO AFFORDABLE!! Wades is my go-to when I'm in need of a home cooked meal that I do not want to cook myself. It's southern comfort food and I love the variety of options. The service is always great, staff is very friendly and welcoming and ready to service the customers. The food is pretty good, and the prices are very reasonable. Wade's is another staple in the community that has not changed too much. They had to adapt, such as the rest of the world, to the pandemic, however I think we've moved passed that and would love for them to bring back their cafeteria style quick dine-in option. The sit-down dining side is just always tooooo busy and crowded for me, and I don't think I really enjoy the food as much dining on that side.
