My husband and I had dinner here on Friday. We ordered guacamole, salsa, short rib tacos and two margaritas. I only ate part of the guacamole and salsa. First, the margaritas were huge and had little to no taste of alcohol, mostly just sugar. Second, my husband got food poisoning from the short rib tacos. There are better Mexican spots around. Arrived shortly after opening. It took 10-15 minutes for our server to take our order. Drinks arrived and were good. Our food order took over 40 minutes to arrive. My mushroom tacos were drenched in a flavored oil leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. My husband’s fish tacos were hot and fresh. The rice was cold, beans lukewarm and bland. Our server never returned to check on us. We believe he was tending a busy bar and trying to assist with waiting tables. Three tables that were seated and ordered within 5 minutes of us had eaten, paid and left before our food arrived. Very disappointing experience. Will not be back. The food was good... at least what actually made it to our table... and that was then end. The service was quite possibly the worst I've ever seen. One of the three items I ordered actually came out. No one came by to ask if we needed anything, refill water, get another drink, nothing. We had to find the hostess to get our check and then the waiter came out and apologized. I get it, people are busy and short staffed but this was BAD. Oh and when you look at the taco menu -- you have to order the SAME 2-3 tacos - you cannot order a variety. And half of the items were "unavailable" so beware of the menu because it seemed to be inaccurate. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Under new ownership, we stopped in for a fun Friday night dinner! Oscar our server was a delight and so friendly to talk to - he gave us terrific food recommendations and his take on a “skinny Paloma” was delicious!
