I have been sleeping on this place for years now for one reason or another, until I started volunteering down the street. Friends kept telling me to get the app. It started with the bone broth, which is so delicious, My breaks are short so it was always something small and quick, like the garlic broccoli, or the Brussels sprouts. Today it was the sweet potato skins with pork belly and the ginger turmeric shot 😁 They do good work! The menu is vegan friendly, gluten free friendly, healthy friendly, but GOOD! It's pretty hard to find all that wrapped up in a menu. I have heard much about so many things on the menu, that I will clearly keep coming back until I try it all! Best place to have a healthy meal or brunch on a Sunday morning. The cocktails are to die for, the green goddess is one the greatest in the whole country, I am being very honest. A must try for everyone over 21 years of course. The bowls are very delicious as well. I have tried almost everything on the food menu you guys are not going to be disappointed. Came here with a grp of 10 while we were visiting family. Started with appetizers and drinks which were decent, but i don't recommend the wings. I don't care about healthly food when I go out, I just want something better than what I can make at home. 9 of us put our order in and I had to change mine because I didn't realize the option I chose was 25min. to early. Waited 25min for someone to come back to take my order. By this time I could order my dinner, but everyone else was done. I ordered the salmon, was cooked perfectly, but tasted like butter. Mashed cauliflower was really good though. BE AWARE, you will be charged 2.9% fee for using a credit card!!! Go dinning in Chicago all the time and have never paid a credit card fee before, unless I get ice cream and spend under $5. Update: because I live out of town, I have not been back yet, but the GM has reached out to me and apologized and taken into consideration my concerns. Great atmosphere, good inclusive food options (vegan, gluten free, peanut allergy friendly), $3 craft beers on Monday was a very pleasant surprise on the check! They have a sit down restaurant and an order on your own area which was convenient but a bit confusing. Overall 10/10 would recommend! Maybe it was just me. I wasn’t “impressed” with the food. I’ve been wanting to try this for years and just never got around to it. Well, I tried it. I love the service and the scenery but the food was …aight. Now if you going for the crowd, looking for a hot date the bar side is definitely a spot you don’t wanna miss. You’re downtown so drinks are pricier than your suburban bar. Definitely open to giving this another shot but maybe I’ll come in the day time or during happy hour. The menu is limited after 10pm.
