One of my favourite places to have lunch. Winter inside near the fireplace or summer on the terras. Try it, you will go back.

The location and the Tea House are everything one could hope. We were very disappointed by the 'breakfast for two', though.
Simply way too expensive for what was offered.
"Seasonal fruit" were three blueberries each on the yoghurt.
Also, the presentation on an etagère is festive, if done well, but the surface didn't look too clean and fresh (maybe it was, it just didn't look like it) so to have slices of cheese laying directly on there, wasn't very appetizing.
To top this off, was a constant smell of frying grease/fat to make the whole experience even more icky. What a shame, because with a few small tweaks, it would have been a wonderful morning out!

One of the most charming places in the Hague, it suffers from a noticeable lack of proper tea, despite of their misleading name,
This place has substantially diminished after Covid - not that it was anything special before: bland coffee, tasteless pastries, self-service and searing prices now promote it towards the top of the "absolutely avoid" list.
Improve it or close it I say but stop abusing the privileges of your monopoly to sell poor quality and expensive food to the customers.
A nice small place. Still following the Corona rules very well. We always visit her if we walk through the park, and so should you =)
Furthermore the sandwiches taste very good but are ñot that big for ~10 euro.
Apart from being a great place with delicious lunch and cakes(also very nice staff), I really want to thank them for caring this much about Covid-19. It's the first time I really felt safe while enjoying the food and the nature while there were other people around. I would be happier if they had more vegetarian choices for the lunch, though.
Great for a cup of coffee or tea with some homemade desserts or soup in a quiet and beautiful location. And staffs attention to pandemic rules were amazing, I felt like in another country where people pay attention. If everyone in Netherlands show this kind of attention there would be 0 cases in a few weeks. That made us feel extra comfortable and happy to be there.
Beautifully located and maintained tea room in the middle of De Horsten royal estates. Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Can be a bit busy during the weekends when the weather is nice.
