Great food, service fell short. We were seated immediately for an early dinner, and our host told us she would send a server over to get us started. 20 minutes later after having no one check on us, I went and told the owner that we would love to order but haven’t had anyone to serve us yet. Then the host came back and told us that she was actually our server, but thought someone else was supposed to wait on us… after that pretty much everything went smoothly. Food was great and came out very fast, only other complaint is that she never brought us any water refills. A decent spot for Indian food if you don't want to leave town (CDA). A lot of unique options, especially with the appetizers like the Indian House Fries. These were sweeter than I expected and I tend to prefer a savory flavor personally. The garlic naan is yummy. Spice levels were pretty accurate. I ordered a two on the spice level with my Mango curry, because I like spicy but am also sensitive to too much. And that was perfect for me. All in all, not a bad experience. We Went in with our kids, and were seated right away… However we waited 10 minutes before we got fed up and left. Not a single person came to our table… The servers kept passing by ignoring us. Attended to and gave other people who arrived after us waters, not a single person would stop by our table. When we stood up to leave the server came over and started getting defensive by acting like he was in the right for attending to others who arrived AFTER us before us. Not a single sorry nothing… Never will be back to this location.
Tonight, the family ventured to Mango Tree in CDA. As someone who doesn't fancy overly spicy dishes, I approached curry with some trepidation, but tonight proved to be a delightful surprise. The service was impeccable. However, I would have preferred if the courses from the Restaurant Week menu were brought out at different times. Nevertheless, all the dishes were delectable, and the conversation flowed effortlessly amidst the subtle blend of spices. We sampled about half of the offerings for Restaurant Week. I, for one, was thoroughly pleased with the outcome. Our selections included the half butter chicken poutine, fish pakora, Murgh Makhani, Indian-style flatbread, and Gulab Jamun. Of these, I would highly recommend the poutine, flatbread, and Jamun, unless you have a penchant for fish, in which case, the Fish Pakora is a must-try. The serving sizes were generous, and considering the price of $25, it's a steal – you'll likely leave with leftovers. In addition to the Restaurant Week menu, we also indulged in the lamb Biryani and chicken coconut curry, both of which are staples for our family. Their flavors were rich and authentic. Considering the price and service received, Mango Tree is certainly worth a visit, especially during this special week from February 24th to March 2nd. The server was attentive without being pushy, allowing us ample time to savor our meal. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Usually a great restaurant. But they seem highly under staffed. Went there on Saturday 2/10.. sat for over an hour while everyone around us that came in much later … received all their food. And waitress finally comes to check in with us and says oh I completely forgot to put your order in. And didn’t even remember what our order was. Such a terrible experience. Needless to say, we didn’t stay. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
