Everything was great I had got the oxtail entree . Best I ever had on the island . Authentic so tasty. I also got the fried chicken and fries 🔥 chicken was crispy and so good the fries was sooooo crunchy and tasty as well . I already ate or I would show a picture that’s how good it was . I highly recommend this Jamaican spot for sure . Best on the island like I said 🤤

So excited that there’s finally a place where I can order Jamaican food when the craving strikes.
Clean and quiet, a small amount of seating but it’s mostly seems like a take out place. I came in wanting curry chicken, but unfortunately that was not on the menu today, so I ended up ordering a small oxtail with rice and peas and plantains.
My only complaint is that I ordered a small instead of large 🤣
I will definitely return, and looking forward to trying the curry chicken!

Literally the worst Jamaican food I have ever eaten. I ordered a small oxtail peas and rice and collards of course I was given the wrong order. Instead I got jerk chicken legs HUGE legs. (I have never seen this before) they were dry. The rice and peas tasted sour and the plantains were old. My man who is from Jamaica ordered red snapper rice and peas and plantains. The snapper tasted like it had been soaked in vinegar for days. All of the food was underwhelming. It doesn’t help that they aren’t opened again until Tuesday. I will be back home then and will plan to dispute it with my bank. So very disappointing…

I was excited to see that there was a Jamaican restaurant opening in our neighborhood. The Jamaican food sign on Jericho did get me to come in and try the food. I ordered 2 rasta pasta with oxtail and a jerk chicken rasta pasta for dinner. The rasta pasta was good but if you're afraid of spicy food it may not be for you. Myself and the 2 other Jamaicans I bought food for did not enjoy the oxtail or the jerk chicken. We were disappointed, as we were happy to find Jamaican food near home for takeout. However, I would not consider this authentic Jamaican food. Caribbean food maybe, soul food maybe, but not Jamaican food sadly.

I made the purchase several weeks ago and told you I was happy to find Jamaiacn food close by and that I would be back if the food was good. Also, I never compared your cooking to any other restaurant or even anyone else's cooking. As you can see, none was mentioned above. I just shared my opinion about the food. To answer your question, what makes Trinidadian or South American or even Korean oxtail different from Jamaican oxtail or any other oxtail??? Of course you're entitled to your own recipes. But I'm also entitled to my opinion of your food, which was advertised as Jamaican. I was excited to see Jamaican food nearby, but in my opinion, it missed the mark...that day at least. Now, the fact that your first response is to discredit by questioning whether I made a purchase says a lot. Especially when I bought 3 large meals. I may not have a business, and I'm not telling you how to run yours, but maybe think about your responses. I may not have liked your oxtail or jerk chicken, but maybe I would've liked your patties or whatever else you're selling. But after seeing this response, maybe we shouldn't try anything else...
