Amazing Food! Super spicy - as requested - fun atmosphere! Food came out in great time, but service was a bit slow after that. The staff was really friendly though and we will for sure give them another try next time we are in Rockport! We were in the area for a short visit and decided to give the Boil House a try. Restaurant opened at 5:00 with a few people waiting. Atmosphere was of a small town - in every aspect. The Boudine cheese “dip” was fine however the stale chips ruined it for me. The shrimp cocktail and the boils were tasty. One of the employees had their small child with them at work. This little one was all over the restaurant: under tables, sliding on her back across the filthy floor, crying, throwing tantrums, climbing on the back of customer’s chairs. It really put a damper on an evening out for dinner. I’m surprised there isn’t some kind of safety code for having children at work in a restaurant with all the dangers it entails. There was live music and the gentleman singing was awesome! I could sit and listen to him any time. On our way north on TX 35 north of Corpus Christie we found The Boiling Pot. Great low country boil. For Veterans they add a pound of shrimp to your order. Definitely an awesome spot. I’ve eaten here numerous times and have enjoyed it everytime except maybe once. We have ordered the shrimp twice and both times it was gooey and mushy. My niece had gotten sick after but that was only one experience besides that the other food is amazing I always get extra spice. They have a really good atmosphere for the type of food and the service has always been top notch. Food is a little pricey buts it’s not freezer burnt burgers from McDonald’s so you definitely get what you pay for. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place has great food, great employees and an awesome atmosphere. We were seated promptly and our waitress was Sam. Sam was an awesome waitress very professional and polite. She was a great communicator and was able to answer all questions without a hesitation, she constantly checked on us with great motivation. Will definitely come back with service like that. Awesome place, definitely visit early. Staff is amazing and helpful if you've never experienced something like this restaurant. For 2ppl order 2 of the Cajun combos 1 regular 1 spicy with lemon, you won't regret it.
