This place has really improved. From ordering in the drive through (individualized reply to my order by an articulate employee, to quickly filling my order, to a very pleasant interaction at the window, to higher quality food, I'm impressed! If you're going to offer people sour cream and nacho cheese with their potato oles and charge them $1.39 per item you could at least make sure it's in the bag. Thanks for the lack of quality service. Food is perfection. I got something for myself and my 94-year-old client. She craves Taco John's often. It always tastes great and looks good by the time I get it to her. Her favorite thing is the hot sauce. 🔥 I love the chicken tacos, tons of flavor. There is very rarely a line so you can usually order right away, though it may take 5-10 minutes until you get your food. I usually get the stuffed grilled taco with chicken and it is delicious, highly recommend that. Not a big fan of the oles but I know people who are. I do enjoy them much better with the nacho cheese. There is a Pepsi machine here and you are free to get refills as you wish. You can also order on their app, or on their ordering screen in-store. Drive-thru is available. Tables are usually clean, though the floors commonly are a bit sticky. Staff is usually on top of cleaning and taking orders quickly. I've always liked Taco John's tacos even when they were located in North St Paul before they moved out. The food is good for fast food ., for service I can not fairly rate it because I went through the drive through, so as for the atmosphere, I went through the drive through,it was as expected. I like to stop into this Taco John's on Sunday afternoon heading to my gaming group. Service is fast and the staff are friendly. I get the chicken street taco meal every time. Just got 5 hardshell tacos for taco Tuesday in the drive thru. Drove home and went to have them and this is what I find. In each taco all I got was a teaspoon of meat that didn't even come close to covering the bottom of the entire shell. 4 out of the 5 didn't have any cheese either.
