Some friends and I ordered the giant family platter, various sides, and drinks... My mouth is watering again just thinking about this meal. I don't order brisket too often because a lot of people don't make it the right way, but this place does. Best BBQ I've had in all of California. Menu had a good selection, and between all of us at the table I was able to sample most of the menu and all of the food and sides were amazing. The alcohol was very overpriced, that's my only complaint, so instead of staying and drinking after the meal we went elsewhere. I highly recommend this place. Excellent BBQ! We got a Brisket plate with Mac & Cheese and a 1/2 rack Spare Ribs plate with Cole Slaw. Everything was made to perfection. The prices and portions are fair. I looked up from my plate and saw Dean Norris walking up from the kitchen. I'm so glad the restaurant is doing well for him. It's a big restaurant and is always busy. I was impressed by the large number of employees, all working efficiently together like a well tuned machine. We got on the waiting list at noon and we were seated before 1pm. Well worth the wait! We look forward to trying more of the menu on future trips. Update: Got a Brisket and Pork Belly Burnt Ends 2 meat plate with Potato Salad and Cole Slaw, and a full rack of Pork Ribs with Mac & Cheese. The brisket was a little dry, but very tender and tasty. This is an iconic fixture in Temecula Old Tiwn since 1927. The food has been upgraded. And the service is the best of old-fashioned friendliness and hard work. We had the smoked brisket, which was melt in your mouth tender and just dry enough to crave the amazing BBQ sauces. And we couldn't leave without taking a monster cinnamon roll. This little place is great if you are looking for a ALL AMERICAN BREAKFAST.its very cozy , great service and the food was excellent. Plates are BIG and sharable if u choose, as the portions are bigger than usual came for my daughter's birthday 🎂🥳. They even surprised her with a special treat at the end of our meals. Only downside no reservations and wait was at least 30 min. But they do have a bar 🍸 around Back for drinks while u wait. Definitely recommend 👌.
