If you're in Hickory, NC and wanting a really great sub, please try Sub Station II. They have indoor dining as well as take out. Pretty much any sub you get you will be thoroughly pleased. I have never had a bad sub from here. Their toppings are fresh, and their bread is fresh as well. They also serve salads if you're in the mood for one instead of a sub. But this place is SO much better than that chain sub store. I promise that you will be satisfied with whatever you choose to eat. I give this place a 10/10. If you're in Hickory please stop by here to grab a sub. You won't be disappointed. This Sub Station II has been one of the absolute best subs around (quite likely THE best) since I was a kid. More than 30 years later, they haven’t changed at all, and that is a very, very good thing. Always fresh bread, fresh veggies, and sliced when you order delicious meats. The only thing missing is the Street Fighter 2 arcade cabinet that used to be in the corner (hadoken!) The #19 super special sub is pure delight on a bun. Just get it their standard “all the way”, as God intended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
