I had the Pull Pork Plate with fries and Mac & Cheese. It was surprisingly good. The service was great! The only thing I would have liked, would be a privacy barrier of some sort between the rows of booths. The wall of the booths only come up to about chin height, making for an awkward dining experience. I can't think of anyone that would like to sit and stare at stranger in the booth next to yours on the row directly beside of you while you're trying to eat. It's an easy fix, but obviously, their design team chose not to. I'm sure it impacts their sales to some degree. So, my advice ask for a table instead of a booth, which is contrary to what most would like. Both the Mrs and I had the brisket sandwich. I had the beans and the Mrs had the mac-n-cheese for sides. Everything was great. I only tried their original BBQ sauce which is smoky. My friend and I had an important dinner date with an important lady in our life. It was her birthday. My girlfriend brought the protein, and I brought fixings, which I purchased online from Sonny's. We have been to this Sonny's a couple times and the experience has been less than desired and we haven't desired to return. We were traveling and our first choice was closed today so we came to Sonny's. What a difference this time. Our server Brittney G. was fantastic, she was friendly, polite, made sure the food was what we expected. Her service was beyond what we have ever experienced at the location as well - she really made the visit this time well worth the stop. Come to find out that she was actually a cook in the back and not a regular server made it even more mind blowing. Brittney G. we thank you for changing our minds about the Rock Hill location You are fabulous and do an amazing job. I'd give my visit today more than 5 ⭐️ but Google only allows 5. I stopped in right around 2pm. I had the best Waitress, she was the one who saved the day. I had order the 1/4 chicken and Sliced turkey combo. The turkey was delicious 😋 but the chicken was really tough and chewy. Wasn't good at all, the fries came out half done. I spoke with the waitress and she brought me some out, with no problem. If you go just ask for well done chicken and fries. Ask for Shannon her, customer service was phenomenal. I will be back.
