We were visiting Scottsdale from out of town and were looking for a quick, satisfying, and healthy meal for lunch. This place checked ALL the boxes. Nothing is fried, but still gives you the satisfaction of a classic chicken sandwich without any of the heaviness. Tots were perfectly cooked and the sauce options were amazing. Definitely wish we had one closer to where we live! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I stopped in with my family (who loves to eat) while visiting Scottsdale, and we were not disappointed. The cashier was extremely friendly and helped us by explaining the menu since it was our first time in. There were tons of options, like wings, tenders, sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads, and you’re able to customize the chicken with breading, rubs, and sauces. I think sauce is a major component of any chicken meal, and with ~10 sauce options, there’s something for everyone (the sneaky sauce and fool’s gold were my favorites). The portions were also huge!! It seems like as prices at other restaurants rise, their portions are getting smaller, but not at sneakybird! You’re really getting your money’s worth with those portions. The chicken was delicious, and we couldn’t believe it wasn’t fried. We left feeling satisfied, but not guilty like we would after a chicken sandwich from a fast food place. Looking forward to coming back next time we’re in town! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sneaky Bird, a fledgling addition to Scottsdale's bustling culinary scene on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, piqued my curiosity with its unique proposition: chicken that tastes as indulgent as if it were fried, yet never meets the oil. As a new establishment, it radiates ambition, aiming to carve out its niche in the saturated chicken market. During my visit, I sampled a range of their offerings, including the chicken sandwich and wings, accompanied by an array of sauces. The restaurant presents itself with an air of sophistication, striving to emulate the polished feel of a franchise, though it's clear there's room for refinement. The interior, while pleasant, hints at an identity still in the throes of development. This theme of promising yet unfulfilled potential extends to the dining experience itself. Sneaky Bird's culinary approach, eschewing frying for a healthier preparation method, is commendable. However, the aftermath of the meal belies its health-conscious allure; one doesn't depart feeling the lightness typically associated with wholesome fare. The flavors, while satisfactory, lack the distinctive zest that compels a diner to eagerly plan their next visit. It's not to say the quality of the food is lacking; the ingredients and execution exhibit a clear commitment to standards. Nevertheless, the concept doesn't quite deliver the revolutionary impact it seemingly aspires to. In a realm where Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane's, and Popeyes reign supreme, the competition is fierce, and distinctiveness is key. To the ardent chicken aficionado, Sneaky Bird warrants a try, offering a new take on a familiar favorite. Yet, when reflecting on the broader spectrum of available options, it's hard to shake the feeling that this addition, while welcome, may not be essential. The quest to stand out in the crowded chicken space is a formidable one, and while Sneaky Bird has laid its foundation, only time will tell if its wings are strong enough to soar above the rest. Great place!! With lots of new chicken places popping up all over the valley, I'm happy to see one that doesn't fry their chicken. That being said, fried or not fried, you gotta bring the flavor. It's definitely a good chicken sandwich and definitely worth a visit. Just needed a little more flavor. Will for sure repeat.
