Went for a late lunch . I like to go when it’s not busy to really get a feel for service and food. Walked in and my order was taken right away. And then! The guy cut the brisket right in front of me and got my side. Had my meal and paid instantly, pretty nice. Paid about $21 for a brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Not bad but not good pricing. Sat down and ate , brisket was good, warm temp , good taste ( could’ve used a little salt ) sauces were good, mac and cheese was good. Little bland. But overall good experience, good staff friendly , just a little expensive for what I got, would recommend and would go back.

Brisket Sandwich
I will be the first to admit when I am wrong. Ate here several years ago and didn’t have a great experience. I gave it another shot last year and it’s one of my FAVORITE places to eat in Waterloo! Amazing food and such nice owners! If they are out of what I want, I try something new and it never disappoints! Support your small local businesses please.
