Come for a meal after visiting Culinary Institute of America. Cooks at this bar do their best to provide visitors with good grilled octopus, roasted chicken and sirloins. Many reviewers mark that you can try perfectly cooked chocolate cakes, cheesecakes and French toasts here. A collection of delicious wine, rum or Pisco sour is offered to guests. Fun dining experience! I love that everyone working here is a culinary institute student! Everyone was super friendly. Food was delicious. When you enter, you can go to the bakery counter on the right side of the restaurant, or be seated for a meal on the left. At the bakery counter, there were many options, croissants, scones, empanadas, cookies, tarts, and other desserts. I sat for a meal and had the Quiche du jour, spinach. Loved it. Hope to visit again. The CIA Bakery Cafe is a wonderful pop-up from February to April. Each year, baking and pastry degree students operate the Cafe Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-1:30 pm in the college's Savor restaurant space. The B&P students run all aspects of the Cafe, from table service, savory lunch production, to the amazing pastries, breads, and entremets . The CIA Bakery Cafe is only open for 12 weeks each year. So be sure to visit and grab lunch, along with a side of CIA'S signature pecan diamonds, alfajores, and the cranberry orange scone. Sit on the patio and enjoy the sights at Pearl, or grab a seat inside and watch the students in this fabulous classroom setting. We just had brunch. Every single pastry was absolutely amazing. We had the French toast, my 11 yr old said it was the BEST ever! I had the pot belly pork egg plate, absolutely delicious . And the coffee and lattes were incredible. Can't wait till the next time! The service was outstanding!
