The table we were at was freezing and right next to the kitchen. The menu was decent for lunch, and the food overall was decent. The kids' steak meal was a huge win. Our child ate the entire steak, which is rare outside of hibachi. It looked like they have a cool golf simulator area that we'll need to check out next time we go. Wow where do I start. The food was flavorless. I got the panko chicken... tasted like nothing. The ravioli stroganoff was okay. The food came out Luke warm. The servers were I dunno... seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. Brought the wrong food to our table multiple times. The drinks were also terrible. Like how does one mess up a gin and soda, soda was flat and tasted gross. The margarita was all mix, and not very good mix at that. The only saving grace was their raspberry cake. Otherwise a total waste of money. I took some of the chicken home to give to my cat. I kid you not... she wouldn't even eat it. They have great burgers. The best part is you can sub chicken for beef for free or switch to vegan patty for additional charge. I recommend the VAT17 burger. Great flavor and taste. this place always delivers consistent experiences. they've been in this location longer than any other restaurant and visiting them once makes sense. from the smile at the door to the friendly and expert service to the meals and libations, it's a treat to dine here. you can't go wrong. ps. see Cooper to get your holiday gift cards this year. Had the Sticky Ginger boneless wings for an appetizer. They were delicious!! The other food was good but nothing special or different. A little spendy compared to other comps but not completely unreasonable. We had a nice server and enjoyed the evening. went here for a family dinner, great american restaurant! we ordered the mushroom swiss burger, pesto pasta, buffalo shrimp, and steak. all were good (especially the burger!!) except the pesto pasta, which had a very strong grassy taste and was chunky. environment was nice, albeit a bit cold and noisy. I did not expect to be so impressed by this little place, but much to my surprise I was wowed throughout our time there. We arrived at 530 and were seated a moment later (with a reservation). Upon getting to the table, waited about a minute before our server Kaia arrived and introduced herself while bringing food to another table. When she came back was very courteous and understanding of us being in a rush as we had to be to the theater in a bit more than an hour. We had already checked the menu in the car and placed our order immediately. Kaia must have put a rush on it because I feel like I barely blinked and the food was coming out. Huge portions for the salad, wings were large and kids meal was a perfect portion. My wife got a flat bread with panchetta and pear she raved about. Turned out my daughter and I weren't huge fans with the tarragon Vinegrette on the Nisswa salad (we didn't notice it had said tarragon vinaigrette until after we tried it) and I informed Kaia of this. Initially asked if my daughter could order something else and I'd just pay for the salad. Kaia would have no such thing and in discussing the tarragon issue asked if I wanted something else too. We both ordered a burger and fries - which again was expedited due to our time constraints. Manager came by and took our salads, said she understood the tarragon vinegrette was an acquired taste and was super nice. Then the burgers arrived and blew our minds. First, fries were perfect - crunchy outside soft inside. Portions were perfect as well. I got the burger with blue cheese infused bacon and steak sauce and it was so great! Like 15 things going on in my mouth with that burger, all working together. My daughter got the white cheddar bacon burger and felt it was equally excellent. Quick check and checkout. Kaia didn't hover but wasn't absent either. Their desserts look wonderful and if we had more time would have indulged... something to look forward to for next time.
