After being closed as long as they were, we expected more. The owners need to look at the place and actually care! The tiles in the bathrooms have even more pieces missing than before, the tile throughout the whole restaurant should be professionally cleaned or replaced. The manager with red hair is so inappropriate and rude! Sitting at the end of the bar talking inappropriately and complaining about fellow coworkers and griping. Not a single patron in the place cares to go out and listen to this while trying to enjoy a meal. We have been regulars for over 20 years. Not sure we will be back! Owners please try caring about this place like you do your other restaurant. Very disappointed, however our server was very friendly and the food was very good! Their prices have steeply risen to 30-40% higher than 6 months ago. Which by itself would not be so bad, as they were very reasonably priced prior to the reopen. What is not okay though is the portions are smaller. Server ignored us the entire time, despite it not being busy. Tried to explain that they burned my steak(charred it badly) and also somehow undercooked it. We are talking internal temp or maybe 95-100. Was met with a "sorry" and they walked away before anything else could be said. Been going here 20+ years. . . Very sad that this is simply a case of family mismanagement. Founder would be ashamed. Our server was great, restaurant is old and out dated. Parking lot is full of land mines "pot holes" . Way over priced. Food was ....good... I got the BBQ chicken and rice with a side salad and ff. FF were cold and soggy, server did bring out fresh hot ff. Husband got a wet burrito, the sauce was not good. Enjoyed the rice. Our son got the kids steak ordered med and came out well done, ff cold and mushy as well. He ate my fresh ff with me. Would not recommend or visit again. Food was OK but over priced (especially for the quality). Attached is a picture showing the $7 children's hamburger. Our chicken was burnt. Our server was incredibly nice but over booked and not fully trained. I have to tell you that the salad that comes with the dinner as a side is the BEST side salad you will get anywhere. The food is always cooked right. The food was good and the service was great! You get a good portion of food. We didn't have room for dessert but the cactus flower was worth it!
