Played on Feb 23rd with a 10:10 tee time. Have played this course a number of times and always have enjoyed it, even though the greens are some of the most challenging I've experienced. It was cart path only this day (warranted with all the rain we've had) which added more physicality to the round, but certainly didnt take anything away from the beauty of the course. The fairways were fairly saturated, but overall the track was in good condition especially the treacherous greens. The only area of improvement is the sand traps. While they look manicured and appear to be fluffy, hardpan is literally an inch below what little sand there is. Finished the round in the typical 4 1/2 hours. This course used to host some pro tournaments and while not Tour quality now, it remains a solid layout that will challenge even the single digit peeps to score well.

Always a top notch facility! One of the best managed & maintained courses in Northern California. It's challenging for all aspects of your game. Long off the tee, hazards in play on every hole, and greens get your full attention. Def not a recommended "beginners" course. For those reasons above; pace of play can get pretty slow on weekends. Otherwise have fun! ✌️😛

Really enjoy the course and the bar. Great calamari and beer selection! One of my best days in 2023. To top it off, I got my first Ace on the 17th hole. I will not forget the day with good friends on a beautiful course!

Beautiful wedding venue! The sun shines on this property in the most gorgeous way. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and there is so much space!! As a photographer, it was a dream venue. Bride and groom both had their own rooms to get ready in, and the brides room overlooked the ceremony site just enough to add so much excitement as the time neared closer to the big moment and she got to peak at guests arriving. The staff always made sure that both parties had everything they needed, checked in with me, and let us use a golf cart to make getting around the property easier for photos, which we only needed one time because there are so many beautiful spots nearby the building. Great experience overall!

This is a relaxing and beautiful place. Great golf...Great food (WALLET FRIENDLY) and indoor and outdoor seating. Full bar. Fun place for friends to hang out with!

I highly recommend using the event center for your next party. We rented the event area for our Hawaiian-themed wedding reception, and it looked absolutely beautiful. Jen, our coordinator, and her serving staff were extremely kind and courteous. We met with Jen several times to go over the details and food orders prior to our big day. The staff service was wonderful, and they made sure each item on the itinerary was on time. The room itself has big windows on both sides, providing an exceptional view over the golf course. My friends and family thoroughly enjoyed our reception. I am very pleased with The Ridge, and I highly recommend them.

The ridge is a beautiful property with a great golf course and club house. The staff is fantastic and the food is great! They have many versatile and beautiful rooms for weddings and banquets. I really enjoy this place and definitely suggest it to friends, family and travelers.

Amazing Wedding Venue! We had scheduled our wedding two years prior at a different venue and had to reschedule because of Covid in 2020. Fast forward to this year when our wedding date was 08/21/21, and had the Caldor fire heading right toward our fully outdoor garden wedding venue in Camino, Ca. We ended up not being able to get insurance per our contract at our old venue due to the fires. My friends, photographer, DJ, and coordinator started calling around when my maid of honor initially contacted The Ridge. They had a last minute cancellation due to a covid situation with the wedding that was supposed to take place on our same day. Due to the last minute cancellation we were able to have our wedding there and keep our same wedding date. They offered to help us 3 DAYS BEFORE our wedding! Sandra, Jen, and all the staff at the ridge really pulled through for us and we will never be able to thank them enough! Additionally they had a large bridal and separate groom suite for us and our families to get ready in! Our special day came out better than we had ever expected and our guests loved the venue! We received so many compliments on how classy and sophisticated the wedding turned out and everyone was shocked that they pulled it off in 3 days. I think my new husband and I are still in shock on how well it turned out! Even better, now we will be able to always visit the venue, play golf and eat & drink on our anniversaries! Cheers and hats off to the amazing team at The Ridge!

Played The Ridge on the morning of July 4th. Great layout by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Course is in great shape. Truly a wonderful golf experience. Greens are fast, fairways are lush, and the sand is soft. Bravo to the Ridge. Book it now!
