It's my favorite place in Charleston. The food is great and served hot. The staff is friendly and polite. The atmosphere is awesome! The best servers and bartenders you have ever encountered. I’ve been here about 5 times now and it’s always great. Great, creative and flavorful food. The staff is always funny/friendly and def makes me feel comfortable. Love the drinks. I’ve tried several special ones and the house margarita is great also. You can’t go wrong here. I love the dive-y, rock and roll atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone looking to try something new around town. Guarantee you’ll have a better time here than you would going to over crowded downtown. I’m not a local, I was just traveling here for work. My co worker had been to rebel taqueria previously and put me on to it. I visited the location on two separate occasions in a week. Kinda in a rough neighborhood but it felt more visual than physically threatening. It gives local dive bar feels for the atmosphere, both times I went the atmosphere was great, youthful college crowd, had Simpson’s and early 2000s pro wrestling on tv. I had two different bartenders. A girl from jersey (I didn’t get her name but she was very personable and just straight up rad) the gentleman if not the owner damn sure ran that place like he was. Very welcoming and very cool. The food was top notch. I got the pulled pork Barbacoa (taco fell apart cuz it was soggy from sauce) the crispy fries are to die for. I got the ground beef chorizo multiple times and it was my favorite. Honorable mentions I got the buttermilk chicken, mahi, pretty much every taco on the menu. Like I said I went 2 times. Each time I got 8-9 tacos. Fries. Soft drink. And two beers. Paid about $60 each time. 10/10 would go back. Amazing food! Some of THE BEST birria tacos I've had in the lowcountry. Their homemade hot sauces are LIFE! I only wish they had actual servers versus having to place orders at the bar, but other than that, absolutely LOVE this place! First time coming here today for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious! I loved the atmosphere very cool, laid back, and decorated. The service was awesome all the employees were really nice. Now, the food was some of the best I've ever had. We had the street tacos for an appetizer, and they were delicious! Fall apart brisket, nice little bites of deliciousness. For my main dish, I decided on quesa birrias tacos with brisket and a side of chips and guacamole. It was all so flavorful, so fresh and filling! The meat again fell apart, tender, and their chips were fresh and crunchy, and they had really good seasoning on them. Very awesome little spot. Definitely be back! Fun, tucked away spot with a nice bar, great music and delicious tacos (The quesa Birria tacos are addictive🤤). The wings & other appetizers were alright, but the tacos are the stars here. 10/10 would recommend! Amazing burrito 🌯 customer service on point 👍 super friendly, gave great recommendations very nice. They had power rangers playing on one tv and the other had Star Wars among other things so it was an enjoyable experience. Would say maybe the music was a tad loud.
