I enjoyed this beautiful piece of historical history with the waitress, she was so excellent with providing the status of restoring the old buildings and attractions. Surprisingly, a small population there and it’s interesting to know that there is friendly people to talk with and joke with too. Very nice place close to I-40. We had breakfast here. It was surprising to find an omelette called Southwest without deli meat, as usually is the case; but not here! :) And it was delicious with a little hot kick! I liked that the coffee was smooth. Clean, friendly diner. All basics like eggs, bacon, toast were fresh and well prepared. Hash browns were really good! Bummed to have missed the fish fry on Fridays. Heard it’s smashing. Cheerio. Reasonable pricing. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Quite and friendly. Food is better than expected. Southwest Patty Melt is made with green chilies and roast beef. Very good sandwich

Great place to eat. There new menus are awesome. This restaurant got a make over by restaurant impossible and they did a great job. Definitely recommend. Friendly staff, great price for serving size it was all good really made us feel at home. If your ever in the ash fork area Definitely stop here . Bartender/waiter was the most personable person and if he isn’t married should meet the equally cheerful gal across the street at the chevron Highly highly recommend you stop, stretch and eat at this exceptional family restaurant with a colorful and interesting history. Wonderful random choice for breakfast, simply found them by searching while driving. Small diner with easy on and off from I-40. And probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! Ham, cheese and sausage in a very fresh tortilla was already quite excellent but the house hot sauce was what made it. Above average heat tho not overwhelming but several layers of additional flavors that just expanded and increased the experience. My wife had a ham and cheese omelet with very nice crispy hash browns, very nice portions and so stuffed that she slid off half the ham and potatoes to me. Felicia was very helpful and friendly, making everyone feel at home. You are making a mistake if you are in the area and do not stop in. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I have stopped here a few times prior to the remodel and then decided to visit again after. The changes that have been made are incredible. The place is clean with a modern feel. The updated menus are a plus. We arrived around lunch so the menus consist of burgers and other things, but I can't wait to try the dinner menu. This place has made some big improvements and I'm glad we were able to see both the before and after. I had the Frisco burger (great btw) and husband had the green chilie burger.
