Very clean! Asked about a product location, and the person I asked walked me to the aisle and to the product! Great customer service!
Friendly and helpful staff. The store and bathrooms are clean. Delicious food at the food bar and the grab and go section. I love eating lunch from there.
Always stocked and organized! Great selection of everything! The store is always clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful!!

What can I say, Publix is perfect! The best grocery store on the face of the planet! A wide selection of anything, and everything. But the best thing is the employees. They bend over backwards for you. And, no self checkout. You actually get to talk to a real person.

We were looking for a product at the Publix store in Florence, Alabama. So we thought to call customer service to inquire if store management could have the product in the store or at least order it for us. This was during the holidays. We spoke to 'Joy' who said she was store manager. When we described the product to her she clearly stated that she would check with the manager in produce and get back to us on Monday. We had called the previous Friday. She had everything needed including our contact number which we had verified twice. Joy did not return our call on Monday so we decided to give her several more days thinking maybe she had not heard anything back. Being that we never heard back from her even after that, we decided to follow up with another call. During this call we waited at least 16 minutes. The person who took the call was Rachel, who transfered us to Joy three times. Each time it brought us back to Rachel who transfered us again and then again. Rachel informed us that Joy was in. For some reason she did not come to the phone. All of this non-sense because of an incompetent employee who could not be courteous enough to call as she said she would do when she said she would do it - even if it meant she did not hear anything back yet. So we waited another week and called again requesting to speak with Joy. This was on a Saturday afternoon and this was our third time calling customer service. We requested to speak to Joy. Finally, she somehow picked up the phone. When l introduced myself (again) she came across a bit uncertain as if not knowing if she followed through with what she had initially said she would do. After gaining some composure, she said that she would get back to us within the week with an answer. Well, it has been three weeks since that call and still Joy has not shown the decency to get back to us on an item that we clearly explained to her during our first call. Please note the amount of effort with telephone calling and waiting to fulfill such a simple request from someone who represented herself as a manager of Publix. How would George Jenkins have handled this? Better yet, what would he have thought about such unprofessional service? He was a fair but firm man. Perhaps he would have understood and saw to it that Joy should be sent back to training 101 and then work her way up from stocking shelves. Shame on Joy for not being decent enough to get back to us. Actually, she would have been better off for our sake just saying that Publix does not carry the item whether true or not instead of making a mountain out of a mole hill and causing such a ruckus with us making a repeated effort. I personally cannot fathom the thought of saying to someone that I will get back to you and not at least make an effort in doing so. I wouldn't know what to say had they approached me at some later time. We all learn the true colors of others to the degree that we associate ourselves with them.

I love shopping at Publix. I order pickup a lot. This location only has two pickup spots and has not bothered adding more pickup parking spots like other stores. It wouldn’t be as big a problem if customers shopping in store would stop selfishly parking in those only two spots. The solution: add more pickup spots.
Super clean. Friendly, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Tremendous variety and quality of products. Bakery, Dell and Meat/Seafood departments are excellent. Many products not available at other supermarkets.
Pharmacy staff cordial and efficient. Prescriptions are always on time and accurate.Grocery area has a great selection,and the entire store is always clean and organized. I have been shopping here since I moved here five years ago, and of course, will continue to do so.

Very nice store with so many more choices than most stores. Really liked getting $5 off after entering my phone number. Great deli, bakery and produce depts. The only store I know of with nice new carts that roll easy 😆
Wow!! I love Publix subs and I always buy their subs but today wow!! Mgr. Brent and Mike in the deli did an amazing job making subs and excellent customer service always everyone at Publix in Muscle Shoals AL! Thanks guys for making an amazing sub for me today!!
