My wife and I stopped in for lunch one Tuesday and though it was quite busy, we were seated and served promptly. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. My wife had a Pastrami sandwich, and I had a Reuben. Both sandwiches were excellent, ample, and very reasonably priced. The fries were quite good also. We went there at 1pm on a Monday or Tues 2wks ago for the first time. Ordered the Breakfast bowl which everyone has raved about in the reviews. It didn't disappoint ! Excellent! My dish was the chicken tenders with french fries and I chose the garlic parmesan dipping sauce. The sauce was good but a bit too "garlickly" for my taste. The chicken was cooked PERFECTLY and very moist. The fries were the bomb, the way I like them. Our waitress ( ? name- young, long blonde hair) was very attentive, enjoyable to talk to. She was very helpful/knowledgeable with the menu. Cute decor inside and clean. Bathroom was clean. I only have one negative comment which has nothing to do with our experience "inside". Upon walking up to their walkway, it was very unkept on the surrounding grounds. They were covered in cigarette butts . Not just a few..... dozens. Certainly didn't create a very good impression going into an establishment. They obviously need to put a couple of those standup containers for butts and maybe a "sign". We will definitely go back ! First time eating at Pops Place and we will definitely be back. Portions are big and appropriately priced. The food was really fresh and delish. Their muffins are homemade and so good. Very moist with a crumbly sugar top. We sat in the dining area as it have a warm inviting cozy area. The bar was a bit loud for us. Our waitress was very nice but I think they were short staffed as they seemed overwhelmed and it took a very long time to get our food. We didn't mind as it was Sunday and weren't in a hurry. Overall a wonderful dining experience and most importantly the value was there. Pop's is a good pick for basic breakfast dining. The hash browns and real corned beef hash are top choices. The breakfast sandwich on grilled English muffin was standard and they delivered with the crispy bacon I desired. The stuffed French toast could use more creaminess and sweetness in the stuff, fresh berries would be an improvement. The grilled blueberry muffin was the star of the meal. We received excellent service in this clean cozy restaurant. It's nice to have a place conveniently located off 302 with wholesome large meals for great prices. We ordered the breakfast bowls for brunch. The large portion of food was brought out quickly. It was also a treat to have breakfast options during lunch and dinner times. That option will certainly keep my family and friends coming back for more. If you haven't tried out Pop's Place, then head on over before you waste money somewhere else. The top of the line prices, service, and food quality will leave you satisfied with your choice to visit such an amazing establishment. This is the type of place that you’d expect to be a popular spot with lots and lots of regulars that return back every week. Why is that? Because they have a nice and friendly atmosphere with a homey feel and tasty ‘home cooked’ food. We stopped in for breakfast and both me and my fiancée got versions of their breakfast bowls and were we both very impressed. The portion you get for the price is a great deal and the taste was phenomenal. I look forward to returning to get the breakfast bowl again! I will need to return sometime also to give their dinner a try. If you are looking for a good spot for a family breakfast for a reasonable price this is a good spot! My family eats breakfast at Pops Place regularly - sometimes every weekend. 10/10. The food is delicious. Service is fantastic and meals are always served fast and hot ! I’m a mom of two littles - they either give my kids a rubber duck or ask them to color a page for their wall. Family friendly. Enjoy!!
