One of the few of last of the original great bar/ restaurants that has survived in Falls Church for at least 40-50 years. Maybe the oldest still around since there is no more Ben tleys or Brinkleys. It felt like stepping back into the 70's or even 80's for some old school Italian food when we walked into this gem of a spot. It was a Sunday night and did not seem crowded at all which was surprising given the whole vibe going on here. We had a great server who was super attentive. The Caesar salad is really good and their garlic bread is beyond fantastic. They give you fresh bread/butter but the garlic bread is a must. I had the rigatoni/shrimp which was okay. The shrimp were not Jumbo as noted on the description. Others in our party enjoyed their food… we had some chicken parm and Lasagna orders along with Salmon. The Tiramisu is a must. Straight out of the 70s, every single element, from the decor to the food, was completely flavorless. The service was also very lacking, in that the water glasses remained empty through the entrées and all the meals were brought out at different times, leaving the first of the group with a luke warm dish. I was immensely disappointed in this restaurant after looking at the reviews. Neither of our meals were good. The service was poor. Had to ask for water twice before getting any, then when I asked for a refill....well that never happened. Maybe we hit it on a bad night.
