My husband and I happened upon this place as we drove by and peeked our heads in. The owner and chef welcomed us in for drinks even though they hadn’t technically opened yet. She gave us recommendations that were HEAVEN and was so kind and welcoming. Would recommend everyone give it a try! Lovely ambience, classy but not pretentious at all, with a truly caring thoughtful owner and chef, and amazing food. Pimienta gave us some really delicious dishes for the most part, and some even more delicious drinks. Appetizers were a bit lacking in terms of quantity, we probably would not get the pork belly again. It was just a bit too dry. And the caprese salad could've used more as well. But we still enjoyed these dishes. We got the roasted duck over risotto for our main entree, and it was absolutely amazing. We wished we had ordered one for each of ourselves. The drinks were what kept us staying, particularly the bourbon sidecar which is now a household favorite. We would definitely return for another meal!
