The best Pizza in NYS. I bring friends as a right of passage to this small shop as often as they will let me talk them into the drive and it ALWAYS is the best food; and ran by the nicest people. Chicken Wing pizza is seriously slept on here. But the Pepperoni is phenomenal as well. Dont miss out and take the trip. We were reluctantly stopping at the diner up the road because we were starving and it was packed and we didn't know of another place in Parish, so we searched and found this GEM! Rose and her husband are the business owners, he cooks and she tends to the customers. She was so happy to see us walk in, as there were only people picking up to go orders. She saw that I was cold and had us sit at a table with the vents below and she cranked up the heat right beneath me. She recommended a Barefood Strawberry Fruitscato for our wine and it wound up being our favorites that we have ever tried. The hot wings were our app, they were tender, juicy and the sauce was amazing. Our entrees were their house specialty "pasta pie" which, simply put, is a supreme pizza with noodles instead, it was phenomenal; And the chicken and broccoli Alfredo which was also great, creamy with the right amount of garlic and both came with a salad to start. Rose was so pleasant, she told us stories, and within minutes our plates were served by both her and her husband, the chef. This was recommended by my mother in law, up until now I've always ate at Nona Dinas but this is definitely our new go-to pizza place! True NY style pizza, huge slices on an 18 inch pie. The sauce is delicious and the the topping are fresh, the wings are cooked just right, not to crispy and not to soft. The BBQ wings are fantastic with just the right amount of sauce. The hot wings could be a little spicier but the flavor is fantastic. Most importantly they are consistent with their food, no surprises. Always good, always hot, always cooked perfect. Cheap Chicken Wings which I was ok with. Esspacily with the shortage on wings, but my God. That barbecue sauce on the wings was horrible. It was so ruiny and thin. It stained the wings all the way to the bone. I can honestly say these are the worst wings I've had in my life. Pizza was good and brought it back up to a 1, but a little pricey in my opinion. The large pie is about 20 inches in diameter, if you dine in. It's a bit smaller for takeout, so it will fit in a standard box. Just was amazed by the size and generous portions of pepperoni and cheese. Before you walk in, you think you've made a mistake. But the service was fast, and the folks running the place were beyond nice; they were engaging. Our pie was cooked to perfection. It would be nice if they added fountain drinks, though. We had French fries as an appetizer, and they were very good.
