Ive been going to Olivit over the last several years and have noticed a drop in quality the last year or 2 that hit an all time low with my pick up order from Mar 8th. Not only did I not receive a side of fries and rice I ordered, my rice pudding had mold on it. For $20 a plate of shawarma, this is unacceptable. i don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews but quality control especially in regards to food safety is definitely something to complain about vs atmosphere, service, etc. I chose the rice pudding as a dessert to complete my order, and upon opening the lid - aside from it looking very unappetizing and not at all like their rice pudding - there is green MOLD right on the top. pinky nail size. hard to miss. it makes me wonder how long they are letting these desserts sit. Is expired dairy being used? stored improperly? i had the falafel wrap as well and i dont feel too hot. mine had tzatziki in it and it wonders if perhaps expired dairy was used. Good quality food... consistently. We eat here semi-regularly and the food is always good and fresh. We also order take out from Olivit, and it is always fresh and hot. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Try the gyro sandwich, freeka (spelling?) soup and starter plate. You won't be disappointed.
