Terrible parody of sushi. Rice gummy and hard, compressed to death, tasteless and too cold. Couldn't finish my #2 sushi plate. Nigiri fish was hacked with a dull knife, full of gristle, and unappealing large. California roll was more mochi like with a cheap flavor. Never going back. Lots of servers just standing around chatting and looking at their phones while people are waiting. Our server was sweet however and did her best. The staff, service, pours & beers are always good. The sushi is hit or miss. The bento boxes are pretty good. The rolls are good, but the sashimi is meh. That said I still frequent this place because it's in a very convenient location. If I feel like getting great sashimi I go to "ten" by the little Caesar pizza place.
