We were placed at a table right by the winter entrance at the front of the restaurant. This was Siberia - drafty, cold and removed from the rest of the dining experience as was possible. We persevered despite the drafts and perpetual interruptions from arrivals, departures and visits to the toilet. We had booked at least a week in advance, so it was rather disappointing to be sat there on the very outskirts and an odd placement for a table by anyone's standards. After ordering, the full realisation of our deficit sunk in. I asked if an alternative was available and was told no, other than the bar (which would have been warmer) but it was a family meal with my teenage daughter, and so we declined. Suffice to say, with gigantic pauses between courses to enjoy our virtual alfresco experience, we felt forgotten. Even our lovely server was surprised that our desserts had not been served. One of our GO TO spots for a date night or when entertaining family or friends visiting. Sara and her team work hard to ensure her guests have a top notch experience every time, no matter the occasion. Being vegan is hard in the Midcoast of Maine. While Nina June doesn’t regularly have fully vegan options on their menu, with fresh local ingredients and a very talented team in the (clean, open, and beautiful) kitchen they are always happy to accommodate. Dismissive staff. Why would I bother? Thanks to the owner for verifying my review. Service oriented people might write an apology or ask what they did wrong, but not these people. Nope. We couldn't get the time of day from them when we were there (that's why we couldn't have spelled it out when we were there). In their response they completely demonstrate how rudely we were treated at the time of our visit by complaining about our complaint. Service: 1

This is probably my favourite restaurant in the area. The menu is fresh and ever changing. Sara is a legend, mixing Italian and Maine dishes not to mention wines and cocktails. Was this one of the reasons I moved to the area… yes it was Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

We had some appetizers and they were decent, like the carrot soup was good, however the mixed greens salad was not very tasty. The oysters were good. The drink was good and strong, it was one of the specials. The decor feels all over the place and not cohesive. Not very vegetarian friendly. Good background music tho…chocolate cake was top tier.
