Incredibly flavorful and moist pastries, we tried them all and loved ALL of them! awesome service, great people running the place. Our neighborhood scored a new gem!! Can't wait to go back soon

I rarely write reviews. There needs to be something special for me to say anything about a business or event. My Sweetish Friend is certainly something special. I even emailed the owner the same morning of my first visit to let them know how amazing their pastries are. They are all amazing, but if you're only getting one, my recommendation is the Pear Cardamom Cake! You won't go wrong with any of the pastries.
I'm also loving the collaborative, community space they are creating with Cheri Coffee & Flowers.

One review on yelp wasn’t good enough, I have to give this place a review on google as well. I’m so mad that didn’t take any pictures of pastries!! My wife and I had stopped by Cheri’s flowers and coffee and saw this place in the same lot as them so we decided to stop by and have some treats and that was the best decision ever!
The owner was so kind and helpful in explaining how the menu works and he was a few options on there that never change and two that are always rotating. We ended up ordering the two rotating pastries The Apple Brown & The Mighty Morgan which the owner explained to us was “The Mighty Morning” in Swedish. They had to be some of if not the best pasties I’ve ever tasted.
The apple brown was this beautiful blend of screeches and applesauce that worked so well together and the might Morgan was An amazing combination of carrots, flax & chia seeds with several other ingredients. I could see myself sitting here for a while reading a book, enjoying my coffee and pastries.
The owner was seriously so amazing, he told us how every morning he bakes everything fresh to have them ready for the day and was so sincere when he spoke about his baking. Whether you stop by to have coffee at Cheri’s or you come to look at the Wedding Flower arrangements at Blumens right next to it, you need to stop here on the way out or in and grab yourself something here

Chill spot off burnet, walkable from Brentwood. Tried one of each, the apple brown and almond Tosca were my favorites but all of the pastries were delicious. Will be back.

I had the sampler and I CANNOT decide which I preferred. They were ALL so delicious. I’m definitely going to be repeating the Pear Cardamom Bundt Cake, Apple Brown Bundtie, and Swedish Tosca Almond Cake. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Really the best pasties I have had in a long time. Treat yourself to some deliciousness.

Best pastries i have ever eaten by long shot can’t remember ever having better…….excellent pastries we sat out side had coffee from stand next to sweetish friend coffee better than i can make at home great experience…..I’ll be back………
