I have been going here often for years when I want a burger and some sides. In that time I've only had one order, takeout, that was disappointing. The food was not cooked properly and the order was wrong. The burgers are great and the sides never disappoint. Service is prompt and friendly. The only people I have ever witnessed not giving great service, two or three, I never saw again. 2/3/24 Teagan provided excellent service. Bartender poured an excellent whiskey. Food was a great improvement from our last visit. We said to ourselves before we walked in if it was bad again we wouldn’t go back. It was excellent today! If you like to watch a lot of television sports all at once with a lot of your friends and family and not be hungry or thirsty when you leave. Mugshots is your place to go. Every time we've gone to Mugshots the service has been great. Even on a busy night we were able to get a table in very little time at all. The hostess did a good job. Our waitress was quick to get our drink orders in. Gotta love the endless refills. I had a Cliff's Comeback Burger and an order of fried onion rings. The burgers are half pound and cooked perfectly. Tasted great to the last bite. The onion rings we spot on. There were so many I had to take them home. The drink refills came quickly as did the doggie bags. Watch what you get if you order something with a slight change to the dish. I went there today and ordered a Savell hamburger and asked for NO ONION. When it arrived, I looked at it and it appeared to be correct but when I took my first bite I noticed a slight onion taste, at that time I looked again and noticed that it had chopped red onions in the mayo on the bottom bun. Once I pointed this out to my waitress, she said that she thought that she had put in the order for no onion and went back to the kitchen to confirm. She came back and told me that the kitchen staff had made a mistake and didn't see that I had requested it without onion. I let her know that I wasn't allergic to onions, but raw ones do mess up my digestive tract. She wasn't fazed that it could have been a major issue if I was allergic to them. The kitchen staff also didn't care that they could have done major harm if I had been allergic. The waitress gave me the bill which clearly had on it that I asked for no onions, and they didn't even try to offset some of the cost. None of the staff asked me if there was anything they could do for me due to their error. I won't be going back to there anytime soon. We arrived early afternoon on the Sunday before Labor Day. We were seated right away. Firstly, the environment is extremely clean to include the bathrooms. our sweet waiter was very quick and helped us with ordering. I ordered the steak burger with a fried egg. it was insanely delicious. the bread was so soft and the burger had so much flavor. highly recommend! my husband ordered the texan burger and it was also amazing! we cut our burgers in half and split each one. The fried were sooooo good. i got sweet potato fries and he got the regular ones. both were delicious. my mother in law ordered the a1 steak sauce burger and she said it was amazing as well. my father in law ordered the shrimp pasta and he said it was not good at all. he said there was no flavor and the sauce was very watery. the bread that came with it was also hard and just not good so i don’t recommend the pasta! To be fair, he asked the waiter what she recommended, and she said either a burger or a salad but she didn’t say anything about the pasta! anyways, i will 100% be back for a burger because it was so so soooo good!!!! and our service was phenomenal! I had the Texan burger and OMG that burger was official. They could have put more fries on the plate but that burger made up for it. Then the Carolina Gold wings (honey mustard) was so damn good. I'm a Buffalo type of person but I'd definitely get those again. The ranch was good too. Add some more sugar to the sweet tea. This was our first time at Mugshots, lunch during the week. The food was great! If I had to complain about anything, it wasn't hot when they brought it out. I especially liked the fries. We had the burger and holy guacamole chicken sandwich (pictured). Our server was good too, we'll be back. Ate here with my parents that live out of town! Our experience started off kind of rocky with a server greeting the party in front of us when he informed another server it was theirs and she got snippy. She also had silverware in her back pocket with her hair touching it. Very unsanitary. However once we were seated we were greeted by Katie (pink hair) she was lovely and so kind. She brought us out drinks very quickly and once we received our apps and entrees she checked on us and our glasses were never empty. Food was delicious it was my moms first time eating at a mugshots and she loved it!! Update: decided to give them another chance. Everything was great from the service to the food 😁 Past review: First time to visit and try to eat at this location. Other mugshots have been 4 to 5 star visits. They are not a fast paced style restaurant I've always had to wait longer but the food is usually worth the wait. Its a great place to come hang out and watch tv when not in Rush. We did not get to eat at this Gulfport location. We waiting at the host stand for almost 10 min before anyone greeted us. It was 2pm on Sunday and they were not busy at all... saw a few servers glance at us from a distance but never came over to help or go get a host. When we finally got seated, we already knew what we wanted to order. We had looked at the menu while waiting to be greeted at the door. We sat for at least 5 min until a server stopped by our table only to tell us she would be with us shortly. Another 5 minutes and she dropped off napkins and straws and said she would be right back to get our drink order. Then after another 5 minutes of waiting we just left... waisted over 20 min of our time at the restaurant after we had driven 20 min out of our way to go eat cause we wanted a good burger. We ended up driving across the street and got sat immediately and had good food in less than 15 min.. I hate to leave such a bad review but i was a server, bartender, abs manager for over 10 years and this was just poor customer service... I usually give a place a second chance cause anyone can have a bad day so we may try to eat here in the future and hopefully can leave a better review.
