Stopped by for some pastries, they were so yummy! We got the almond croissant and an apricot danish. Both were delicious. My husband got a cappuccino and said it was very good. Very authentic. It was crowded, but we didn’t have to wait in line to order. The lady helping us was French and very sweet. Would definitely come back when in town and try having some of their salads and sandwiches.

Here at Moulin, the interior of the cafe, most of the French employees, and many customers talking in French at the tables outside, making me feel like I am in France. The food I tried was Millefeuille and Le Croque Madame sandwich, but although they looked great, the taste wasn't very good. Millefeuille was too hard, and the Croque Madame bread was too tough for the texture.
The cappuccino I ordered at the staff's recommendation tasted good, but the Barista must have lost my order form, so it didn't come out even after waiting for a while, so I ended up having to request it again.
According to a friend of mine who has been here before, the cold sandwich sold at Moulin is not toasted, so it doesn't taste that good when eaten here. So, rather than eating it here, it tastes much better if you take it home and toast it in the oven.

Went there for brunch, and was pretty satisfied with the dessert options and also some of the breakfast options. Would definitely like, if there are more vegan/vegetarian options, available in the menu.

This Moulin location in Newport Beach is much larger than others. It has a bistro to eat at, an all day restaurant, a bakery and there is a home store in the same plaza. Our kid enjoyed the Pumpkin Pie macaron and we ordered a very buttery, rich, chocolate hazelnut dessert which was enough for all of us to share. I wanted to try some of the desserts and croissants. Another time! Interestingly it seemed that all the staff we encountered could speak French or has a French accent.
