Wow! The service, food and atmosphere were astounding. My husband and I ordered the French dip and the nachos. We planned to split both and asked for 2 extra plates. Our server, Daniel, brought out both meals divided into two dishes already in a very nice presentation. He went way above and beyond. We will be back!!! We've passed by Monks many times, and if you're going by looks based on the logo, or just in an odd spot it's easy to pass up. Let's just say that me and my partner are now disappointed that we haven't tried Monks sooner. We had it to-go, and we had the Black and Blue with Truffle Fries, and the French dip with the fried onion crisp, and cauliflower bites. The portions were really generous l, especially the sides and the cauliflower bites. Even the greens tasted amazing and fresh. Our only small gripe which is the reason why it's a 4 star and not 5 when it comes to the food, is that the French dip was made phillycheestake style, and difficult to eat right away, other than that it was great. Remember good quality food comes with expensive choices ... Went here to enjoy time away. Love the food choices and chicken pot pie soup was awesome so was cheeseburger. Ok experience nothing to write home about. The waitress was great. The food not so much. The waffle fries were cold. So they came to remove the cold fries and left the burger. So then they were eaten Separately. Why is the meat so dry 😩. Visit this place at your own risk.
