We engaged Mi Tierra Mexicana for a memorial service for a family member. as the restaurant has a sizeable back room for events. I was also pretty impressed with the Google and Yelp reviews regarding the quality of food. I have to say everyone within our group was thrilled by their meal. The Chili Relleno's were about the biggest I've had - Yum! The Green Enchilada's were a real treat. Several people in our party had the Taco Salad Bowl which was excellent. The Fajitas also impressed. The staff servicing our group made sure our iced tea, lemonade, or Coke's were re-filled promptly. Having never organized an event like this before, hats off to Jose and his staff for ensuring every detail was taken care of. Next time I'm in Prescott, I know where I'm going for great Mexican food - Mi Tierra Mexicana!

I was surprised at how nice the restaurant was- tasteful decor. This restaurant is quiet. We were able to have a peaceful conversation. Prompt and cheerful service. The food is very good. I can't wait to bring family and friends.

Seafood (Dos Amigos) was rich and hearty. Delicious red sauce, perfect for dipping up the sauce. My brother's Crazy Burrito not only had good filings but was topped by a meaty green sauce as well as a little pickled onion. Such nice touches that show a quality kitchen not just mad producers. We will be back - repeatedly! The same name in Prescott Valley is also very good.

Four of us went to Mi Tierra on Gurley Nov 14 . The food & drinks were okay, the service was okay, the communication was severely lacking. Initially we ordered four happy hour discounted margaritas on two checks. When it was time to order food husband decided he wanted the Tuesday special discounted tacos. The server stated he couldn't have both discounts. Okay, fine, he would pay full price for his margarita. When our bill came, both our drinks were full price, so we questioned why. Apparently, one discount per check, not per customer. The server called in management who didn't care that we were misinformed, insinuated we were lying about what we were told. She could have, should have, split our check and we would have left happy. With all the Mexican restaurants out there with better food & better drinks, we are four customers who will not go back. We wish Mi Tierra on Gurley, good luck.

Only complaint is that I asked the waiter for a meal to go to be brought out after I have paid so it would be fresh. Instead I received food before I was done eating. Food sat on table for at least 30 minutes before we were ready to leave. Did have to ask for chips and salsa twice. We had a group of 9.

Great food and friendly staff. One of the few restaurants that makes good green corn tamales. It's often quite crowded during typical dinner hours and can be a bit noisy inside but the traditional feel is nice.

Had the jalapeno Margherita, it was fantastic! Everyone at the table lived the choices they made. However, I did not. I ordered the ceviche, it did not look or taste like any I've had before. It tasted more like cooked tuna and was served with three hard tostada shells. I am looking forward to trying other menu items! They did remove it from our bill.
