The Tuna cooked was not in anyway flavored. The meal was high and didn't fill you up. Not at all what I would have expected from what I heard of this place. The food was served with plain rice and plain bread, no butter no flavor no seasoning. Very disappointed in my experience visiting this place. The staff was great and the setting was really beautiful, but the food not so much. Not sure if I will return. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Was there for a Christmas party for 20 people. Was there at 6:00 pm didn't leave until 9:40 pm The food was slow, I had 12 oz. Steak ask for med rare it came to me well done. I will not sent food back due to what they could do (don't think they would have) found out later the waitress had our party and 5 other tables. Our cheese cake was frozen hard like a rock. My son had his wedding reception at Melvin's on the back patio and the dock. Although it was very hot because they chose an outdoor venue in july, it was a great setup. If you are considering renting the venue as an event, please check it out and be prepared to bring fans, portable air conditions, or cooling towers in the summertime.
