Don't mistake this place for Long Horn Steakhouse brand. Want a good steak? Grill it at home, this place has HIGH prices and old stale sides, plus the steak is not even fire grilled. I can make better AT HOME. This coming from someone who just paid almost $70 bucks for two people, save your money, you will be HAPPY you did. The service was mediocre too, she didn't actually deserve ANY tip.

Several friends and I periodically eat lunch here. We are always greeted with a smile. We like the portion sizes for the prices. We usually go about 1pm, so miss the bigger lunch crowd. Service has been very good, and with a friendly smile. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I both ordered steaks. Neither one of our steak had any flavor. I ordered Mac and cheese. It was very watery and flavorless. It didn't even taste remotely like Mac and cheese, but more like Mac and pasta water. Salad was good. My first beer (Miller) had to be sent back because it tasted like a sweaty gym shoe. Ugh. The replacement beer was michelob ultra. That was better. The waitress was great. She was attentive and friendly, although I wish she would have cautioned me against the Mac and cheese. The food was decent. I prefer my steaks to be flame grilled, but I'm pretty sure the steaks were pan-fried. It wasn't nearly as packed as Texas Roadhouse, so we were seated immediately and had our food quickly. Do not go here for food unless you were born without taste buds or consider Hungry Man meals fine dining. The salad was served in a warm bowl, the steak had no seasoning, the flavor profile was closer to hamburger meat than a t-bone, grilled shrimp were small, half of the meat stuck to the skewer, they were undercooked, unseasoned, rubbery and my best guess would be that the fried shrimp were purchased from a dollar store freezer approximately 10 years ago. Cocktail sauce was prepackaged Heinz, and the tartar sauce tasted sour. Baked potato was edible. Waitress was kind and friendly. Local place off the beaten path close to Bryan, Tx. Very homey atmosphere and good service. Started our meal with fried pickles which were tasty! For dinner the chicken fried steak stole the show. I got the small portion which was already a big plate, can’t imagine what the large portion looks like! Probably not the place to get a steak as it was average. The baked sweet potato was to delicious!!! If you are craving for some home cooking cravings give them a try!

The food was good and the prices are fair given the large portions. The double portion of chicken fried chicken is insanely large. During my visit we ordered the chicken tenders, chicken fried chicken, and chicken fried steak. I was not a big fan of the breading, but personally I prefer a lighter breading. I was however a fan of the ranch. The ranch was a perfect dip for the fried pickles and chicken tenders. Stopped in for a late lunch. Greater and sat immediately. Waitress was nice and took time to answer our questions. I ordered a large chicken fried steak with fries and corn, wife got a small chicken fried steak with baked potato. The CFS was excellent! It was tasty and the gravy perfectly seasoned. The fries were great, cooked just the way I like them. After I finished I tried to eat some Texas toast but was way too full. First time here and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was great, our server was attentive and friendly. Menu had a decent selection of diner fare, including steak. There were lunch specials, senior discounts (you only have to be 55!) a bar and desert as well. Food came out quickly and most importantly to me it was nice and hot!
