Lilly’s Taqueria had a great atmosphere filled with Latinos (so you know the food was great). They have really good prices especially compared the neighboring locations. The place is very clean and service was friendly. Tacos were amazing, and the salsa bar puts everything together. The food came out so quickly even when it was busy. Must go to! This is a spot at the end of Chapala up against the 101 freeway. They serve ONLY tacos, water, and beverages. The tacos are delicious, and they get crowded at times. They also have a Lilly's in Goleta next to the Target. Good choice for tacos. If you're looking for more than just tacos, this is not the place to come. Amazing tacos, the steamed beef cheeks are probably in my top 3 for all time, the dark red sauce is hot. Very clean and simple, the salsa bar has all the traditional fixings. I ordered asada, cabeza, cachete, and tripa tacos. All of them did not miss. They were delicious and perfectly cooked and seasoned. AND they came out in like 3 minutes with a packed restaurant. I like how they have two little salsa and toppings stations so you don’t have to wait to fix up your tacos. They weren’t greasy and you can tell they cut their meat by hand.
