That's a good idea to order nicely cooked fried catfish, pork chops and ribs. Nothing can be better than tasting good banana pudding, cheesecakes and pound cakes. I’ve been here quite a few times and the food was ok. Today was a different experience, I ordered a fried chicken wing dinner and was told it would be 30 minutes. After 40 minutes I approached the counter to inquire about my order. “ just a few more minutes” I was told. Finally got my order but I always check it. Why was the chicken burnt! I took it to the counter to show them. And said “ I didn’t pay $17 for burnt chicken”. He said“ do you want me to cook you some more” what! And wait another 45 minutes? NO THANKS! I’ ll take a refund. No apologies! He just turned and walked away. I’m done with them! I won’t be going back ever! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

My food was horrible. This was my first time trying and words cannot explain. I just don’t understand. My Mac n Cheese, Dressing tastes like I don’t know what. The Chops had something brown under the gravy. It was just really bad….. I just knew it would be good. I will no longer buy soul food. I will be cooking it at home. The chicken wings looked as if they had been cooked in old grease, the french fries were not cooked well, and the cole slaw seemed to be overpowered with radish. Furthermore, there were no condiments at all with the two dinners that were ordered for the price of almost $50.00.
