I had a delicious oat milk latte and egg and cheese biscuit here. I came on a weekday morning and the service was quick and it was easy to find a table. I’m deducting one star because there was no free WiFi so I had to use a phone hotspot to work from my laptop. After wanting to try out this place I paid it a visit. Was not disappointed, I ordered the Nashville hot biscuit and being hispanic I was thrilled it came with green salsa! Food was great. Love the variety of drinks. I also ordered a matcha that was pretty amazing too! I normally just get coffee when I go to Krankies’s. Today I got a dirty south chicken biscuit with pimento cheese, and Texas Pete hot sauce. It was tremendous. A much larger portion than I thought. It was so thick you could barely get your mouth around it. And of course it was absolutely delicious. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great Vibe. Kind of an old school industrial style atmosphere with inside/outside seating. I got the hangover helper was a massive biscuit with all kinds of goodies, so big I had to eat it with a fork! The nitro cold brew style coffee was excellent. This food is probably the best food I've tried in Winston Salem since I moved. If I ever have visitors, I know Krankies will be a definite place to eat at. Service is fast, atmosphere is nice. They are more of a brunch place so they close by 3 pm but the chicken sandwiches are so worth it! Krankies is easily in my top 5 of favorite places in Winston Salem. As a southern gal from a small town in GA, I am super picky about my biscuits and Krankies nails it every time! I love taking my friends and family here when they visit. Amazing food in a cool and casual atmosphere. Tons of outside seating and some inside as well. They change their menu seasonally, so you can expect fun new items regularly. I just tried some items off their new Spring menu and y'all.... it's to die for!! I got the Jalapeño Popper Biscuit and the Strawberry Shortcake Matcha drink (hot)! So so so freaking good. My only comment (not enough to leave any less than 5 stars) is that when you're in the back of the line, it's pretty difficult to read the menu board at the front. Perhaps they should consider printing out some menus to have for the folks in line, or even a QR code by the door! May help the line move faster as well.
